Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Seventeen

It was another as beautiful as could be day.

So Zita and I went for our very early long good morning walk. We went all the way to the little lake.  

There were no nasty geese there today. Ha. That was good. 

Just lots of very beautiful flowers.

Zita and I do not like those smelly geese even a little bit.

When we got home Niamh was all awake and nearly already to go to her beautiful clothes store. On her fast bicycle.

I went into the big bedroom and I talked at Craig very loudly until he was all awake. Ha. Good for me. 

Then Zita and I talked to professor Jill. Right at our gate. 

Until it was time for me to help Craig eat his breakfast. 

Today we had a Zita’s own made muffin.  

Then Craig went to see his old friends for their good morning coffee on his flat computer. Ha.

When Craig was very busy talking Zita and I were very busy making the front yard spic and span.

Zita put up a little gate beside the very big gate so I could see her. 

When she was busy in the garden. 

We have some very beautiful flowers too.

And our own pond is full right up to the very top. Ha. 

The across the street pond is my favourite pond. 

When Zita was very busy I had a little nap right in my side yard. Good for me.

Today is Emmet’s last day to be basement Emmet. Ha.

Because he is not sick at all. Good for us.

Tomorrow he can come upstairs and help me look out my watching window. That is a good idea.

And even have his dinnertime with us.

Then we can have our altogether dinners again.  Ha. 

Those are my favourite dinners. It is know. 

And now he can get his own do not get sick shot too. Then all my family will be shot. 

Miss Sash had her shot. And Miss Anna too. That is good. 

I do not have to get shot.

Because my nice doctor Waller gives me all the shots I need. Good for us. 

Zita was in the garden all afternoon. And I could mind her from the side yard.

Because I can see right over the little new gate and know if everything is just alright. Ha. 

Craig had a nice lay down to listen to his book. But he fell right away to fast asleep. Until dinnertime.

We had Mister Nicastro’s delicious lasagna. But is was only Craig and Zita and I for our dinner.

I could not have any because it was too delicious for dogs. I had crunchy lettuce instead. 

Because Emmet was playing his dragons game with his old friends from our nice university. 

And Niamh and Miss Tarryn went for a little relaxing practice drive. 

Mister Paul brought us cookies that his daughter Miss Caroline made for us. As a treat.

We will watch our detectives program tonight. 

Maybe we will have cookies. Maybe. Ha. Good for us. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Sixteen

We got up early again today. And it was another very sunny beautiful day.

So we went on our good morning walk. We did not go to the little lake today. I was a little bit tired. 

Maybe we got up too early. Maybe. 

And there were nasty smelly geese in our other pond. Oh dear me. They should not be there. 

That pond is for my friends the ducks. Not the nasty geese. 

I only had a little beside Craig nap this morning. 

Because we were very busy this morning with rascal ladies work. Too bad for Craig.

This morning the old very fast bicycle took Niamh right downtown to her own work. In the beautiful sunshine. 

Because she was very very busy this week. 

When Craig was all awake he had his breakfast toasts I had to help him. 

Or he would just leave toast crumbs all over the bed. Oh dear me. So I was there to be a big help. 

Then I went and had a very nice nap. In front of my watching window. 

Last night my friend Emmet came upstairs to get some brown sugar for his Irish tea. 

Because he used all the brown sugar downstairs. My goodness. 

Because he drinks lots and lots of Irish tea when he is writing his giant story. 

I minded him until he went back downstairs to his big bedroom. Good for me. 

Nearly very soon Emmet will not have to only live downstairs. That will be good. 

Then he can go for some all over walks. 

And listen to some of his very interesting stories.

Those are Emmet’s favourite walks. 

Miss Tarryn borrowed Craig’s very old just extra go fast chair today. 

So her very old grandmother could go and visit all the beautiful flowers. 

Not everybody has go fast chairs. I do not know why. Too bad for them. 

This afternoon Zita and the black car had to go on an errand for the rascal ladies.

So I minded Craig and basement Emmet. Right from the very comfy living room rug. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifteen

When Zita and I were all awake we looked out my watching window and it was as beautiful as could be outside.

So we went for a lovely long walk. We went to visit our little lake again. 

But I did not see my friends the ducks.

Maybe they are still on their vacation. Oh well. 

We went to see everything before the too many people came to visit. Ha.

We even saw the new way too tall building. 

Craig told me that someday when it is too windy it is just going to fall right over. Oh dear me. That would not be so very good.

But it is at the other end of our little lake. Not our end. 

So it would not squish Zita and me. That is good. 

When we got home it was time for my right beside Craig nap. Ha. That is an easy job for me. 

Then it was time for me to be Zita special helper. So I went to our rascal ladies office. 

This morning Niamh had to go too the beautiful clothes store. On her very fast bicycle.

Because she had too much work to do. And this is her do not go to work day. Oh dear me.

And after lunchtime time the go fast car took Zita downtown to the other rascal ladies office. For all afternoon.

Because she had to put lots of very important papers into their big computer. Oh dear.

So I stayed here to guard Craig and Emmet. And our house too. 

Because Craig and Emmet cannot just guard themselves. 

Because they have just stay in their bedrooms. 

So I minded them all by myself. That was a very important job. 

And when Zita came home we had a right away dinnertime.

Emmet could not have dinner with us because he was playing the dragons game with his friends.

And Niamh had an outside dinner with Cara and Lee. 

So only Craig and Zita and I had our fast dinnertime. I got lots of green bean treats. 

Then Zita had a rascal ladies meeting right after our dinnertime. Oh dear. 

Maybe we will watch the detective program again tonight. 

Last night Craig had a late at night ice cream. Ha. 

Because Zita got more big boxes of ice cream. Ha. That was a good idea. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fourteen

Zita was wide awake very early this morning. I do not know why.

But it was a very beautiful day outside so we went for a very long walk. 

We went right over to our little lake.

So we could see the all over everywhere beautiful flowers. 

We went before the too many people were there to look at the flowers. 

So there was only Zita and me there. And all the beautiful flowers too.

So we had a very nice walk today. 

Niamh rode her very fast bicycle to her work.

But she was a bit too late and we could not have our together breakfast. Too bad for me.

Then it was time for me to have my nice nap beside Craig.

When he was still fast asleep. Ha. 

And when he was all awake I got right up on the bed so I could help him with his toasts and his raspberries too. 

After lunchtime Zita went to some beautiful trees stores. To look at trees. 

Maybe we will find just the right one to put right in front of our patio.  

It is very hard to find just the right beautiful tree. Oh dear.

When she came home Zita went to clean up our front yard so it will be as beautiful as can be. 

I had to stay in the big bedroom and mind Craig so he would not be all by himself. 

And so I would not be a too much barking dog. Oh well. 

So I had another nice nap and Craig read his book. 

Then I went to the front garden so I could be Zita very best and quiet minder dog. Ha. 

And after a while the very fast old bicycle brought Niamh back home from her downtown work. 

But she was not still not all finished her work.

Because she had to go to a very long on her computer meeting. Past our dinnertime. Oh dear me. 

Downstairs Emmet was still busy going to his meetings all about the long long time agos. 

Those are his favourite meetings. That is good. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Thirteen

We did not go for our good morning walk today.

Because I was too busy minding fast asleep Craig. It is my new best job.

After Zita and I are all awake and we have had our together breakfast I get up on the big bed and have a nice nap. 

Right beside Craig. When he is still asleep. 

Then when it is time for our rascal ladies work I go and help Zita. Ha.

So I am very busy in the morning. 

Niamh is not so very tired today. That is good. 

The so you do not die shot makes you very tired. Oh well. 

But not for such a long time. That is good. 

When Craig was all finished listening to his new book he got all awake.

So Zita got all his comfy pillows. And I got back up on the bed to help him with his tasty muffin. 

When we were all finished I had another right beside him lovely nap. 

It is very easy to have comfy naps because the big bed has lots and lots of fat pillows. Ha. That was a good idea.

Fat pillows are my favourite. 

Emmet is still very busy going to his meetings. Right on his computer. 

And now my friend Emmet and his friends from lots of universities are going to play a game. On their own computers.

It is a game all about the long long time ago scary Vikings. In Ireland too. Oh dear. 

So Emmet and his friends are going to see if the story is true. Oh my goodness. 

And lots of people from all over everywhere can watch them. My goodness me. 

Maybe even those Vikings. Oh dear.

But the scary Vikings were afraid of our musk oxes and the giant moose and especially our dangerous polar bears. Ha. Too bad for them..

That is why they only came here for a very little visit. And then they went right away. Ha. 

Now they only come here on the television. That is good. 

We had our dinner in the big bedroom. 

But Emmet could not be there with us on the computer.

Because he was giving a very interesting talk to lots of from all over people. All about the very old Irish stories. 

Right from his bedroom in our basement. Maybe our basement will be famous. Ha. 

My friend Niamh got a very nice letter from someone important.

Telling her what a good television program she made. 

It was all about making the beautiful clothes store even more beautiful. That was very nice. 

But tonight Niamh was too hungry so she had her dinner before Craig and Zita. 

But she came and sat with us. Right on the floor with me.

Then she went right downstairs to go to fast asleep. 

Because she has a very long day tomorrow. I do not know why. Oh well. 

I think we will watch the detective program again. 

But we cannot have ice cream. 

Because Craig and Niamh ate all of it. By themselves. Oh well. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Twelve

Zita and I got up early today.

So did Emmet. 

Because he had another meeting to go to. All about the long long time agos. 

And Niamh was up early too.

Because today she had to go to downtown to get her do not get sick and die shot. Ha. That was a good idea.

Craig did not get up early. 

So I got up on the bed and I went to fast asleep right beside him. For a long time. Good for us. 

Then the go fast car took Niamh downtown for her very important shot. 

So I stayed here and minded everything. 

When Zita and Niamh came home Craig was still laying down all comfy as could be. 

All covered up with the fat duvet. 

He was listening to Scotsman’s music. Oh well. Too bad for him.

So when he got up Zita made Scotsman’s porridge for him. Ha. 

After she got all back home Niamh did not stay upstairs. 

She went to her big comfy bedroom to watch a program on her big television. And had a nice nap.

The do not get sick shots makes you a bit tired. But not just dead. 

Craig and Zita were a bit very tired too when they got shot. Oh dear me.

Now everybody has their shot. Except for my friend Emmet. 

Because he has to stay in the basement to make sure he is not sick. Oh well.

He did an are you sick test yesterday. Right here in our house. 

And today a man came and picked up the test. Right at our front door. Ha.

And he took it away. I do not know where. Either did Zita. Oh well.

This afternoon after our rascal ladies work Zita washed Craig’s hair. With hot gloves from Italy. Ha.

Then Zita and I went for a nice before dinner walk. We thought it was going to be a soggy day. 

But it just forget to rain at all. So we had a nice long walk. Ha. 

Yesterday when Zita and Niamh went on their drive they visited Craig’s father. 

He has his name right there on the ground. 

Niamh told him all about her interesting stories for her nice university. Ha. That was nice. 

But he did not say anything back. Maybe he was busy having his dinner. Maybe. 

In far far far away heaven you can eat anytime you want. 

Even ice cream all the time. Or chicken and bacon too. Ha. That is a very good rule.  

We had our very delicious dinner early tonight. So everybody could have a nice long sleep.

Long sleeps are my favourite. 

I was a big help making our dinner. 

I was fast asleep at my watching window. But then I smelled green beans. 

So I was able to be a very good kitchen helper.

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Eleven

It was sleep in Sunday but Zita and I did not have even a little sleep in.

Because we went for an long all over everywhere walk instead.

We went before the too many people were all going for their walks too. Ha. Good for us.

Today is the especially just for Mother’s Day. 

I do not know where my mother is. 

So when I came to my house Zita told me that she could be my mother too. If I wanted. Ha. That was a good idea.

So Emmet and Niamh and I got her a lovely present. A beautiful from Japan all broken up famous picture. 

And a put on the wall box for it. When we put it all back together again. 

We put it right on the dining room table. 

We do not use the dining room table just now.

Because we eat in the bedroom.

Because of Craig’s all broken legs accident. 

So now we can use the dining room table just to fix broken pictures. Good for us.

Zita talked to her mother in way far away Dublin this morning. To say happy Mother’s Day to her too.

And we got beautiful flowers from Zita’s parents. There were a just because present. Ha. Those are good presents.

Then when Craig got up we had together toasts. Right in the bedroom. With raspberries jam. And Zita and Niamh too. 

I got right up on the bed. So I could help with the toasts. Then I stayed right on the bed. Between Craig and Niamh.

I gave Craig lots and lots of kisses. And I chewed his arm so he would get all better faster. Ha. Good for me.

But Niamh said that I was a bed shark. Oh dear me. I am not a shark. 

Because sharks only live in the dangerous oceans. Not in beautiful houses like mine. 

And sharks do not have two comfy pillows or their own nice warm duvet. Too bad for them.

So Niamh was just wrong. Too bad for her.

At dinnertime last night we talked to basement Emmet all about his giant story. 

Then everybody talked all about the lawyers in long long time ago Ireland. 

It was not so interesting and I had a nice nap. 

Right there with everybody. With everybody is my favourite place for a nap. 

After lunchtime Zita and Niamh went for a nice drive. To give some going away presents to a rascal lady. 

I stayed here to guard our boys. All by myself. Ha. That is an easy job.

Because Craig has to stay in the big bed and Emmet has to stay in his big bedroom in the basement. 

I just looked out my watching window and had my good afternoon nap.

When they came home it was time for our before dinner walk. I was not so very wide awake. 

But we went anyway. Oh well.

We had delicious cooked outside hamburgers for our together dinner. Some of them had cheese on top. Ha.

And we put one on a plate beside Emmet’s big bedroom door. 

So he could have a delicious dinner too. 

Maybe we will watch the detective program again tonight.  Maybe we will have ice cream. Maybe. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Ten

We did not go for our good morning walk this morning.

It was too rainy for a lovely walk. 

So we just looked out the watching window until Zita drove Niamh to her downtown work.

Craig had a way too long sleep in. 

I kept going in to tell him that the water is already in our pond. It is not all just empty today. Ha.

But he was always fast asleep.

Because he did not sleep so well the other night. Oh dear. 

So he had to have an extra sleep today.

He could not see his friends for their good morning coffee today. 

Because he was just all fast asleep. Too bad for him. Oh well.

When he was all awake I helped him eat his lunch. And I had a little beside him nap.

But not for long.

Because I had to look out my watching window so I could see everything and then tell my friend Craig all about everything. 

That is my new best job. 

Emmet is still writing his story. I can hear him. Even when he is downstairs. 

Because dogs have better ears than people. Too bad for them. Ha. And better noses too. 

That is why people should always have dogs. To mind them all the time. 

Because people are not so very good at the very important things. Ha. Too bad for them. 

After Zita found Niamh at her work it was time for our before dinner walk. 

And it was not even a bit rainy so we were not soggy after all. 

And we found professor Jill too. That was a nice walk. 

When we got home Zita made the for shepherds pie. 

Because it is everybody’s favourite. And we are not even shepherds. 

I could be a shepherd’s helper but Shadow and Maggie were the best helper dogs just for shepherds.  

I would be the best mind all your silly cows dog. That was our job. A very long time ago. 

Now our best job is to guard our families. That is the very best job ever. Ha. Good for us. 

Craig  did not have an afternoon nap. Because of his big sleep in. 

I only had a little nap.

Because I was very busy minding the house and Craig and Emmet too. All by myself. 

So I had a nice quiet day today. That is good. 

Because I was very very busy all day yesterday. 

Maybe we will watch the detectives again tonight. 

Maybe I will go to fast asleep early tonight.

Because now I have two very comfy pillows. Ha. Good for me.,

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Nine

Today is Zita’s sing happy birthday day. 

I almost forgot. But this morning Niamh told me. Ha.

She slept upstairs in the den last night. 

Because of the do not be too close to Emmet rules. Oh dear me.

So I got her all awake this morning. 

I got right up on the very comfy sofa and kissed her until she was fast awake. Good for me.

So she was not fast asleep when it was time to go downtown to her beautiful clothes store. Ha. 

My friend Emmet was awake way way early this morning. I heard him. 

And it was still very dark outside.

Because he had to have a very early in the morning meeting with his professor. On his very old and not so fast computer.  

And the professor still has only the wrong time clocks. Oh dear.

Yesterday Miss Morgan and Mister Mike brought Emmet’s own birthday present right to our side door. 

Because Emmet was still in way far away Cork when it was time for his happy birthday presents. Oh dear. 

But I was all worried about Zita’s presents. 

Because Craig cannot go and get Zita a wonderful Sing Happy Birthday present. 

Because he still has to stay in in bed. Oh dear.

And my friend Emmet has to stay in the basement. Because of the do not get sick rules. 

So he cannot go and get a beautiful present either. Oh dear me. 

And I could not go because I do not have any pockets to keep my money safe. 

And I do not even have so much money. Too bad for me.

But my friend Niamh told me she would find some very wonderful presents for Zita.  From all of us. Me too. 

And my friend Craig will give Niamh some lots of money. 

You can still give people money even when you are all the time in bed. Ha. That is a good idea. 

Craig had a little sleep in this morning.

Because he was too sore to go to sleep right away last night. Oh my goodness. That is not all right.

So when he was all awake I got up on the bed to help him eat his good morning muffin. Ha. Good for me. 

And I had a little sleep in beside him too. 

Then I helped Zita in the rascal ladies office. Until lunchtime. Then we went for a walk in just a bit of rain.

I was not even very soggy when we got home. That was good. 

Then Craig and I had very nice good afternoon naps. Good for us.

When I woke up Zita went downtown to get Niamh and brought her home.

And when she got home she had lots and lots of wonderful secret presents for my friend Zita’s sing happy birthday day party.

She found them right in her own beautiful clothes store. 

And she put them right in the bedroom. 

That was a good idea. 

And mister Tony’s friend brought us very very tasty pizzas for our altogether birthday party.

But it was only us and downstairs Emmet at the birthday party.

Because of the rules. Oh well. 

Doctor Susan brought Zita beautiful flowers and Niamh made them all beautiful in lovely bottles. Ha.

Because she used to work in the beautiful flowers store. Up on our busy street. Ha. Good for her. 

We had an all on fire all over sing happy birthday cake. 

We got it from the nice food store up on the busy street. We always get tasty cakes there. 

And we had enough candles because Zita is not so very old. Ha. Good for us. 

And I helped everybody sing the happy birthday song. Good for me. 

Then I had a big fight with Niamh. And she hit me with my own pillow. Ha. 

But I won anyway. 

Then we opened all the secret presents. I helped. Opening presents is my favourite job. 

And I got Zita a very beautiful bag for our walks. 

From the beautiful clothes store. Ha. Good for me. 

We can put lots of treats in it. In case we get very lost at dinnertime. Ha. 

And my friend Emmet watched everything right from the basement.

We brought his pizzas downstairs to his bedroom. And his delicious cake too. Ha. 

We had a very good party.

But then everybody was tired. And Emmet has to get up very early again. 

So he can go to a far away in England meeting. 

Right in the very very old university where he told everybody his interesting story. Ha.

He has to ask his friend some important questions. So he has to be fast awake. Oh dear. 

So we went to bed. That was a good idea. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Eight

 Everybody was up early today. Except for Craig. 

He had a bit of a sleep in. So I got up onto the big bed and had a little sleep in with him. Ha. 

Niamh was up early because she had to have a meeting with all the beautiful clothes store people. Then she went back to sleep.

Emmet did not have a nice sleep in. Because we have the right time here. And he still has the Irish time. Oh dear me.

But we talked to him for a long time last night at dinnertime. On Zita’s computer. And he was only in the basement. That was silly. 

Yesterday when Emmet went to his own very big bedroom he found Merry Christmas presents. Ha. That was a good surprise. 

He did not come back home at Merry Christmas time because of the do not get sick rules. 

So now he has secret presents to open. Ha.

Even a beautiful jacket with writing all over it. Ha. 

We opened all our presents a long time ago. 

So we did not have any presents to open with him. Too bad for us.

Today Emmet is reading even more stories for his important giant story. 

He did not even have a little vacation. 

Because he likes reading very very old Irish stories a lot. 

Zita was very busy today because there were lots and lots of people to talk to. I was a very quiet helper. 

Craig and I have our nice afternoon nap.

Then I helped Zita and Niamh make the all squished toasty sandwiches. 

They had the very tasty from Italy ham inside. Ha. Those are very tasty sandwiches.

We had them right in the bedroom. Ha.

I got some green bean treats. 

Then we watched the detective program again. That is a good program.

But none of them have brave helper dogs. Oh well. Too bad for them.

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Seven

Zita and I had a very busy day all day today. 

Because very early this morning they told my friend Emmet that he was not even a bit sick.

And they said he could come right back home. Ha. That is a good idea.

He took the little train from the aeroport right downtown to where the very big trains live.  

And he found the very best do not just crash train. The one with lots of room and not so many people. 

It brought him all the way back home. Ha. Good for us.

So then my own family will be all together again. That is my very favourite time. 

Because then I can be the very best minder dog ever. It is known. 

Niamh and I had our together breakfast today. 

I got the same tasty cereal as Niamh. Ha. That is a very good breakfast.

Then Zita’s go fast car took Niamh downtown to her beautiful clothes store. 

And then Zita went to the very fresh strawberries and raspberries store. 

Craig and Emmet eat lots of strawberries. I do not like strawberries. Oh well. 

Maybe Zita will find tasty very old cheese. Emmet loves very old cheeses. Me too. Ha.

And then maybe Zita will find some of Mister Kettleman’s delicious bagels too. 

If the store is not just full up with too many people. 

Mister Kettleman does not have a store in way far away Ireland. Only here. 

So Emmet has not had a tasty bagel with bagel cheese in a very long time. Too bad for him.

Today is Zita’s mother’s another sing happy birthday day. 

So Zita talked to her on the telephone. In way far away Dublin. 

But Zita did not sing her the happy birthday song. Too bad for me. 

That is my favourite song. 

I always help sing it when we have our happy birthday parties. Good for me. 

She had an on fire cake too. 

But not an all on fire cake tonight. 

Because she is very old and they did not have enough candles. Oh well. 

After our lunchtime Zita was downstairs making the basement all ready for Emmet to stay there.

Because of the do not get sick rules. 

She put lots of delicious food and some tasty treats in the downstairs little refrigerator. 

So he not starve into just nothing. 

Before our dinner Zita was very busy.

Because she went and found Emmet at the just for trains station and brought him home. 

And then right away she went downtown to find Niamh and brought her back home. 

I stayed here so I could mind everything. All by myself. 

That is an important job. It is my very best job. Ha.

We will only have a together dinner tonight. Not an altogether dinner.

Because Emmet has to eat all by himself downstairs. Because of  rules. 

He was not so very hungry. 

Because the nice people on the train had their very own lovely restaurant. Right there on the train. 

So he had a very tasty lunch. On the train. Ha. 

That is a good train. And it did not fall over and crash at all.

So my friend Emmet was nearly all full up and he only wanted a Mister Kettleman’s bagel and bagel cheese for his dinner.

But Craig and Zita and Niamh had bacon and cheese and egg and lettuce bagels. And some onions too. Ha. 

We ate them in the big bedroom together. Ha.

Now all my family is all in my very own house with me. 

That was a very good day for me.

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Six

I did not have a sleep in today.

Zita and I got up right away. Then I had my breakfast.

But Zita did not put lots of tasty treats on top today. Oh dear.

So I only ate a little bit of my breakfast. Oh dear. 

And then I went and told Craig. But he was fast asleep. 

So I talked and talked to him. But he did not wake up. Too bad for me.

So I went into the living room and went fast asleep. Ha. Good for me. 

When Craig was all awake I got up on the bed so I could help him eat his breakfast. 

Then I had a cosy nap. Right beside him. 

When Niamh came upstairs she found some tasty treats for me. 

So Niamh and I had our lunchtime all together. Ha. That is a nice idea.

Craig had strawberries for his lunch. 

But I do not like strawberries. Oh well. Too bad for me.

My friend Emmet has found a train to bring him back home from Toronto. 

A nice train that will not just fall over and crash. 

When he was writing his very interesting stories about Russian trains they always fell right over and crashed. 

And squished everybody. Oh dear.

So that is why you have to find trains that know how to not fall over. Ha. 

So as soon as the doctors say he is not even a little bit sick he will get right on the train. And come back home.

So I can mind him too. That is a good idea.

Zita made Craig and I a very fat peanut butter and cheese sandwich for our a bit late lunch. Those are my favourite sandwiches.

Then I minded both Craig and Zita in our hall. 

And had a little nice nap at the very same time. That was a good afternoon. 

But Craig did not have our together dinner with us. 

Because he was still all fast asleep. 

And when he woke up he thought it was tomorrow. Oh dear me. 

And it was only nearly my own bedtime. 

Maybe he got Emmet’s wrong clock. Oh dear. 

So he had a very late at night dinnertime. Too bad for him. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Five

Craig and I had just a very little sleep in today.

Niamh had a big sleep in. Ha.

But Zita did not have a sleep in at all. Too bad for her.

I got up on the big bed to help Craig eat his tasty muffin.

And then I stayed right on the big bed and kept him comfy cosy. For a long time. 

I even chewed on his arm so he would be all better very soon. Ha. Good for us.

Then Niamh came upstairs and helped me eat my breakfast. 

The present man brought us a brand new sit up in bed chair. Just for my friend Craig. Ha. 

Now we do not have to use all the pillows in the world. That is a good idea.

But Niamh’s brand new for the too bright sunshine glasses did not come. Oh dear. 

Craig and I had a very fat peanut butter and cheese sandwich for our lunch. 

Zita made it for us. That was nice. 

I got back up on the big comfy bed and when we were all finished our sandwich I stayed there right beside him. 

So I could be his very best nurse. That is a good job for a nice dog like me.

Then I fell fast asleep right beside him. With my own feet right on him.

So I would know where he was. Even when I was fast asleep. Ha. 

Zita was very busy with her important meeting all afternoon. And Craig went to fast asleep.

So I had a lovely long nap too. Ha. That was a good afternoon.

And when Craig was awake it was our dinnertime. Good for us. 

Emmet had a little sleep in at his lovely hotel. But not a very nice big sleep in.

Because the clocks are all wrong. Again. Oh dear. Too bad for him.

He is going to try again tonight. That is a good idea.

He is going to be home soon. Zita told me.

But he is going to only be in his very big and comfy bedroom in the basement. For a while. 

Because of the do not get sick and die rules. Oh dear. 

But I do not know how he is going to get here. All by himself. 

I should go to not so far away Toronto and bring him home. 

But even very nice dogs like me cannot go on an aeroplane or a train all by ourselves. 

That is not such a good rule. 

Sometimes people do not have such very good rules. It is known. 

We are going to watch our detective program again tonight. That is a good idea. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Four

Zita and I only had a very little sleep in this morning. 

Then we went on a very nice all over walk. Even up to the busy street. 

Last night Zita and I went on a very long walk. On all the different streets. 

Because there were no people on these streets. That was a good idea. 

This morning my friend Emmet is on his other do not get lost aeroplane. 

Way up in the sky. Right over the giant full of whales ocean. Oh dear me.

Emmet sent me lots of pictures this morning.

So I would know that his aeroplanes did not get even a little bit lost. Ha. That was a good idea.

But all the aeroports in far away Dublin and even London were as empty as could be. Oh my goodness.

And all the restaurants were not even open.

So he had to get his breakfast porridge from a machine. In the aeroport in London.  Oh dear me. 

That is not such a very tasty breakfast. 

When he gets home Zita will get him Mister Kettleman’s delicious bagels. They are Emmet’s favourite. 

But he cannot come home today.

Because he has to stay in the lovely at the aeroport hotel for a little while. 

Because of the do not get sick rules. Too bad for us. 

It takes a very long time to come home from was far away. Oh dear. 

I would not like to be that far away from my own house. And my comfy pillow. 

Emmet was still in the fast aeroplane at our lunchtime. 

And still right over the giant ocean. Oh dear me. Oh dear me.

I did not eat my breakfast until lunchtime. 

When Niamh was all awake she found me some tasty treats to put right on top. Ha. 

Then Niamh and I listened to loud music in the living room. Ha. That was a good time. 

Zita put on the just for the summer windows for Emmet. 

And she made the big bedroom spic and span we could have the big tables back at the end of the bed.

Because when Craig’s legs are not so all broken he can practice not being in bed all the time. Ha. That is a good idea.

Then he can help me look out my watching window. 

And maybe even have our together toasts again. Ha. Then everything will be all right. It is known. 

Niamh and her very fast bicycle went for a ride. Maybe to find some treats. Ice cream treats are Niamh’s favourite. 

It was a very lovely afternoon for riding her fast bicycle. 

And it was not even a bit too cold. That is good.

It was a bit very cold this morning when we went for our good morning walk. Oh well. 

Emmet’s aeroplane did not get lost even one time. He sent me a picture inside.

I do not think there were so many people on that aeroplane. That is good. \

So now he is in very nice hotel. And he can get a nice dinner. Right in the big comfy room. Ha.

And now he can go to fast asleep until tomorrow. Ha. 

A man brought us very very tasty from far away food for our dinner. 

So I could not help make our dinner tonight. 

But Zita said I would get delicious treats anyway. Ha. Good for me.

Now my whole family is nearly all home again. 

That makes me a very happy Miss Poppy. Ha. Good for us. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Three

Craig had a very long sleep in again today.

He only was all awake at lunchtime.

But he did not have his lunch right away.

Because he had to go to his old friends breakfast meeting. And talk to everybody.

Then he had a toasty muffin for his lunchtime.

So I got up onto the bed to help him. Ha.

And then I had a nice together nap when Craig and Zita had their coffees.

I was right beside him on the bed. So I could keep his still broken legs toasty warm. Ha that is an easy job for me. 

This morning when Craig was fast asleep Zita took Niamh downtown to her beautiful clothes store. 

So I minded fast asleep Craig. That was an easy job. 

After lunchtime Zita and I and professor Jill went for a little not so far walk. 

It was not raining at all today. That was good.

Late late tonight my friend Emmet is going to get on a bus in far away Cork.

And it will take him all the way to the aeroport in far away Dublin. My goodness me.

Then a do not get very lost aeroplane will take him to just over there London. 

But Emmet will not have any time to visit our nice Queen. Oh well. Too bad for her. 

Because he has to find another aeroplane that knows the way to not so far away from us Toronto. Oh dear me. Too many aeroplanes.

I had a very quiet day all day long. That was very good. 

When Niamh came home Zita and Niamh made a lovely salad for our very delicious used lasagna dinner.

But I could not help. 

Because I was fast asleep in the living room. On the comfy rug. Ha.

At dinnertime I got up onto the bed to keep Craig company. Good for me.

After dinnertime we watched the detective program we watched last night.

Until everybody fell to fast asleep. Oh well.
