Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Nine

We went to bed early last night.

Because of the wrong clocks in Zita’s head. 

But going to bed early is my very favourite time. Ha. Good for me. 

And this morning it was so beautiful that we went for a little walk. 

We will not tell my nice Doctor Waller. Ha.

Craig watched the very fast little cars before he got all dressed.

But then he made a fluffy coffee for Zita and when he had his next coffee we had toasts.

And on our toast we had Zita’s father’s own made jam. 

And the jam came from his very own berries. 

And they are Logan berries. Ha.

And they grow right on the garden wall at their house. Oh my goodness me.

Being in their garden is Zita’s father’s and mother’s very favourite time. 

Just like Zita and Niamh. Ha. 

Tonight Zita’s parents are having own grown tomatoes too. 

They grow right in their special little just all made of glass house. 

Those are very tasty tomatoes I think.

Niamh is still at the very loud concert in Montreal. 

And she had to sleep there. 

Without her very own comfy pillow. Oh my goodness gracious me. 

And that loud concert is still on tonight. 

So she and all her friends are going to stay another night.

And come back home. So everybody can go to fast asleep for a long time. 

At lunchtime Zita went to visit the nice farmers up on the busy street. 

So she could get some brand new food for us.

But she did not walk there.

Because it was a bit too hot.

So her just fast enough bicycle took her there. And back too. Ha.

I got delicious yogurt on my lunch today.

When Zita was outside in the garden. Taking away lots of nasty weeds. 

Weeds are very tricky because they grow when you are busy doing other things. 

And if there are too many nasty weeds then there will be no room for our very beautiful rose flowers.

So we have to take the weeds away nearly all the time. That is not so much fun.

For lunchtime Craig and I had two round toasts from England.

And we put some of Zita’s father’s delicious jam on top.

But not way too much jam.

Because when it is all gone there is no more.

Because it is own made.

And you cannot buy own made things in a store. It is known. Oh dear me. 

But we did not use it all today. Good for us. 

Then we went outside so I could smell everything everywhere. 

But we only stayed until I knew everything was all right.

Then we went back inside because I was too hot again.

So I had my afternoon nap. Right on the cool kitchen floor. 

And later when it was not so hot outside Craig and Zita went for an adventure walk. 

And they did not just melt away. That is good. 

And then after I had my first dinner Zita made bagel sandwiches with very tasty bacon. I was a big help.

Craig was not such a big help.

Because he was watching the football game. And maybe his team will win this time. Maybe. 

After our early dinner it was time for a new detective program.

So Craig and Zita could have a nice relax and I could have a nice nap. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Eight

My best friend Zita came home last night. 

And I was very very happy.

And I told everybody that I was so happy.

And Zita was very happy too.

So I got lots and lots of hugs. 

And then it was dinnertime. 

And Craig had put dishes on the dining room table.

So we could eat right away. That was a good idea.

And we had Mister Kettleman’s brand new bagels. 

With lots of just for bagel cheese. And some not real pancakes. Ha. 

Then Zita opened up her suitcase.

And there were presents inside. Oh my goodness me.

Presents are my favourite. 

And Craig got lots of from Ireland tasty treats.

And Zita’s mother sent him two giant triangle chocolate bars.

Triangle chocolates are Craig’s favourite.

And he got an coffee cup with sheep driving a tractor.

There are so many sheep in way far away Ireland that they can drive tractors. 

But only on their own farm. And not so very fast. It is the rule.

Then everybody was too tired so we went to bed. 

And Zita and I had our favourite pillows so we had a lovely long sleep. Ha. 

This morning Zita and I went for a little walk. It was not just a little amble. 

Professor Jill was there so we went around the whole block. 

But we will not tell my nice Doctor Waller. Oh my goodness me no. 

Craig did not go to the park to have his good morning coffee with his old friends today.

Because he had a sleep in instead. Ha.

And when he got all awake he made fluffy coffee for Zita and we sat and had together coffee.

And I stayed right at their feet. 

So I would know where they were. Ha. 

Now everything is all just right again. Ha.

But my friend Emmet got a bit sick. In way far away Cork.

But he is not way too sick .

Because he had all his do not get way too sick shots. That is good.

And Emmet has their very own doctor to make sure they get all better. That is lucky. 

And Miss Alice got Zita a beautiful write in it book. 

And it has Zita’s own name right on the front. 

So nobody can steal it away. Ha. That is a good idea. 

Last night Niamh and all her friends were at the very loud outside concert.

It is so loud that it is on an island. Oh my goodness me.

And Mister Aidan is there too. Ha. That is a good idea. 

After our together coffee Susan came to visit us. 

So Craig went in the den for his next coffee. 

And he used his brand new sheeps coffee cup.

And he had some of his new oatmeal cookies. And they were not Scotsman’s cookies. 

They were cookies from way far away Ireland.

And I got some too. Ha. 

Then I had to go and find my friend Zita.

To make sure she was still here. Ha. 

We are going to have can early dinner tonight.

Because Zita still has the wrong times in her head. Oh dear. 

I would not like that.

How would I know when to remind Craig when he forgets about my dinnertime. Oh my goodness me. 

When I was fast asleep Zita got some brand new from our own garden green beans. 

And we had them for our dinner.

But before dinnertime Zita went to the special store on her bicycle.

So she could get her new glasses for the too bright outside days. 

That was when I was having my nice all afternoon nap.

It was a very good day for a nap. Zita told me so. Ha. 

After our dinner Zita and I played rope.

Because Zita was back home. Ha.

Then we watched the detective lady from the very far away little islands.

Until it was a finished. 

Then it was just the right time for bed. Ha.

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Seven

I had an adventure last night. Oh my goodness.

Craig and I had gone to our comfy beds for a relax before fast asleeps when Niamh Niamh got home.

And she had to make herself a go to bed snack. So I got up to help her. Ha.

And then we went outside for a little amble to the corner and back. Even in the very dark.

Then we sat in our patio to have our snack and watch some loud people go home from a concert. 

But they could not see us because of all our beautiful bushes. Ha.

And when we came in I was very excited so Niamh and I sat in the living room and had a long relax. 

Then we went to fast fast asleep. 

That was a very good adventure.

When it was morning time Miss Sash came to my house and she brought breakfast. Ha.

So I took them on a little good morning to the whole world amble.

But only to the other corner. 

Because of my doctor Waller’s rules for walking. 

And then Craig was all awake too.

And then Miss Tarryn and Miss MarieElle were here too. 

Because today is the day to go to Montreal for the very loud outside concerts. 

And they all got in Miss Tarryn’s mother’s very long car. And just like that they were gone again. 

This morning Craig got a picture of my friend Zita’s aeroplane. 

From the wait for a long time aeroport in Dublin. 

It was a very late aeroplane today. Oh my goodness.

Then the nurse came with a new sock for Craig’s foot. But it was too big. 

It was such a beautiful day today I had my good morning nap outside. 

And when the nurse was all gone away Craig had his too much coffee.

And we looked out our very big windows at the whole world.

And we had the two last pastries.  Ha. 

Then it was time for my before lunchtime nap. 

When I had my tasty lunch Zita’s aeroplane was not even in my country. Oh my goodness me.

She should find a faster aeroplane. Oh dear me. 

And my friend Niamh and all the ladies are already in not so far away Montreal.

And my friend Emmet is still at his very little apartment in way far away Cork. 

Now it is only Craig and I here in my house.. Oh my goodness me. 

So that was a good day for a long relax. Ha. 

And for Craig to make the house all neat and tidy as could be. Ha. 

After our second lunchtime a man came to my house on a bicycle.

And he had a bag of brand new Mister Kettleman’s delicious bagels.

And even some little potatoes pancakes. They are not real pancakes. 

I do not think Mister Kettleman knows how to make real pancakes. Oh well.

We always have tasty bagels when people come back home from far away.

And Craig told me that Zita is going to be back in my house today. 

Because we saw that her late aeroplane found Toronto. Ha. That was a good idea. 

But she may be a bit late getting to my house. 

Because of the a bit too late  aeroplane. Oh my goodness me. 

And her next place was a bit late too. 

But it found her. 

So it did not get lost. Oh my goodness me. 

Craig should get us our very own very fast aeroplane. But not a way too noisy one. 

With a nice comfy bed for polite dogs. Dogs just like me. Ha. That is my good idea.

And before dinnertime Mister Paul got the go fast car so he could catch Zita at our aeroport. 

And bring her back to our comfy house and me. That was nice. 

Day Three Thousand six Hundred and Eighty Six

I was a bit busy this morning.

Because I had to take my friend Niamh on a little amble on my street even before she was fast awake. Ha.

Then we had our breakfast. And when we were finished Craig was all wake too.

Even before the very fast bicycle took Niamh to the lovely store.

Niamh cooked some delicious sausages for Craig’s dinner tonight.

Because tonight Niamh is having dinner with an old friend. 

And they have not seen each other for a very long time. 

Then after Niamh left it was a Craig and Poppy Day. 

When Craig had his first too much coffee we had a brand new pastry. 

And it was full up with tasty apples too. 

And when he had his next another coffee we had another pastry. 

Because they were not so very big pastries. 

But they were very tasty anyway.

Then it was time for my good morning nap. 

And I went to fast asleep underneath the go fast chair. Ha. 

Our cousin Emma has too much coffee in the mornings too.

Even fluffy coffees too. Ha.

And they have a store there where you can get tasty treats. With your coffee. 

It is just like our house. Except we are not so very far away. 

It is going to be hot outside today. So we closed all the curtains.

So the too hot would not know we were here. Ha. Good for us. 

Last night Zita and Auntie Eileen and lots of cousins went for an adventure walk.

All the cousins are my family too. 

Because they all have the same lots of curly hair as me.  Ha. Good for us. 

They all went to the big beach to look at the giant ocean. 

But they did not go swimming. That was a good idea.

Because sometimes there are whales there. 

And they might gobble someone all up by accident. Oh my goodness me.

That is why you should not go swimming at night when the whales cannot see you so well. 

Tonight Zita’s family had a big outside party. With lots of friends and lots of cousins too.

Because it is an anniversary. 

Zita’s mother and father have been going to that little village nearly for ever.

So everybody had a party.

And they had a cake. And it was not even a sing happy birthday day cake. My goodness me. 

It was an anniversary cake. Ha. 

But after the party Zita and Auntie Eileen went back to Auntie Eileen’s almost in Dublin house.

And they went in Auntie Eileen’s ladybird car with all the very beautiful colours. Ha.

Because tomorrow Zita has to go to the aeroport where she can find her do not get all lost aeroplane.

The one that knows where my house is.

Because Craig said that my friend Zita is going to be home tomorrow. Before our dinnertime. Ha. 

And she has to be at the way far away aeroport very very early in the morning.

Because of the wrong clocks. They should buy brand new clocks. 

Maybe we should get them one for Merry Christmas time. 

But tomorrow Niamh and Miss Tarryn and lots of their friends are going to some outside very loud concerts.

And it is in Montreal. Oh my goodness me. 

And she will be all gone before Zita gets home. Craig told me. Oh dear me. 

My family goes to too many places all the time. 

Except for my friend Craig. He stays here so I can guard him. 

My life would be too boring if Craig was not here for me to guard.

Because then I would only have to house to guard. 

When the rest of my family was somewhere else. It is known. 

And Craig always knows where to find then especially tasty treats. Ha. 

We had delicious egg rolls for our lunchtime. 

Because Niamh and her friends did not find them last night. Ha. Good for us. 

Then I went into our office to mind it. And to have my quiet afternoon nap. 

But after my first dinnertime there was thunder and a whole bunch of rain. 

But only for a little while.

I was not so scared because I got up on Niamh’s comfy duvet bed on the sofa. 

So I would be all safe.

But then I could not get down. And I got a little bit scared.

So I told my friend Craig. 

And just like that he brought my old steps from the bedroom. 

And then there was a good place for my feet. 

So I got back down. All by myself. 

Craig said I was very brave. 

Then Craig and I had a by ourselves dinnertime. 

And then he watched a football game and I had a nice nap in Zita and my office. 

Being very brave makes me a bit tired now days. Oh well.   

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Five

I have a very lovely quiet day today. 

Craig and I did not have a sleep in today.

And we were all awake before Niamh was awake. Ha.

And Niamh had to be very fast today. 

Because she was almost late going to the lovely store. Oh my.

So we did not go to the corner today.

Because there was not enough time this morning. 

But she filled up the little bird’s little bathtub before she was gone.

Then it was an only Craig and Poppy Day. 

And we had a toast so fat that Craig had to cut it into two pieces. With a knife. Oh dear.

And then he put the brand new from France strawberries jam on top.

And it was my favourite strawberries jam too. Ha. 

That was a good breakfast. 

Last night Miss Emily came here after the very hard questions night.

They did not win. Oh well.

But I helped Niamh and Miss Emily put all the garbage outside on the driveway. That is my favourite job.

And yesterday when Niamh got home there was a lady talking to Miss Ginny.

And it was Miss McKenzie Niamh’s friend from a very long time ago.

And now she is going to live in one of Miss Ginny’s apartments. Goodness me.

She goes to the nice university too. And she is going to be there when the brand new classes start.

Because she is starting on her next important piece of paper. Ha. And she writes her own poems. Ha.

Last night Craig and I had the very delicious food from way way far away China. 

And I had the crunchy ends of the egg rolls. Ha. That is a tasty treat for me. 

And we got extras too. Ha. Good for us.

And there was so much food in the round boxes we are going to have even more tonight for our delicious dinner. Ha.

My friend Emmet is in a brand new book. 

And his friend Finn wrote the book. And it is a real book. And we bought it. Ha. 

And it is all about dangerous butterflies. 

And I did not even know butterflies were so dangerous. My goodness me. 

It was a very beautiful day today.

So we went outside and Craig found my favourite all chewed up ball. Ha. 

Then it was just the right time for my before lunchtime nap. 

When I had my lunch Zita was having a nice altogether dinner with her family.

In the little way far away village. 

It was because of the all the wrong time clocks in Ireland. To bad for them.

I do not think they will have tasty from way far away China food there. 

Maybe they will have lots of fish with very big fat chips. Maybe.

Because that is where lots of catch the fish boats live. 

So the fish are brand new tasty. Ha.

And they have lots of very delicious fish restaurants right there. 

Where they could even see the for fishing boats. Ha.

So everybody went together for their together dinner. 

And then they had giant tasty desserts. 

And they were filled up to the very top with ice cream. And tasty pastries too. Oh my goodness me.

Ice cream is Zita’s mother’s very favourite. 

One time some boats came to steal our fish.

But one of our very big and fast boats shot its canon at them.

And made them put all the fish back. And took their way too big boats all away. 

And we did not ever give them back. Ha. 

When I had my lunch I got tasty still hot chicken on top. 

And when Craig had his lunch he had two egg rolls. And I got some of the very crunchy bits.

Because I am always a big help in my house.

Then I was all full up so it was time for my afternoon nap. 

But I just stayed in the living room with my friend Craig.

So he would not be by himself and get lonely. Ha. Good for me. 

Then Mister Paul came to borrow Zita’s car. 

I did not get up because it was only Mister Paul. 

And I know him. Ha. Good for me. 

When Niamh got home she had Miss Tarryn and Mister Holden with her. 

And they had to go do an important errand.

But Craig and I were too hungry.

So we had our very tasty from China dinner when they were out. 

And we did not even have to cook it.

Because it was already cooked. 

So we just put the round boxes in the fast cooker. Ha. 

I got two chopped carrots. Ha.

When Niamh and Miss Tarryn and Mister Holden came back they had the from China too. 

Because those round boxes had lots and lots of more food for everybody.

And I got lots of chicken on top of my dinner. 

Then Craig and I went in the den to watch a program all about old detective stories. 

But it was not a detective program. Because of the rule. 

Then it was time for Craig and I to go to our comfy beds.

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Four

I had a very nice quiet day today.

I had a very nice sleep in.

But not in our big bed room. 

Niamh and I had a sleep in on the comfy rug in the living room. 

On top of her duvet. Ha.

And when I woke up we went outside for a nice good morning amble.

But the sidewalk was too hot for my feet. 

I had to just jump around it was so hot. Oh my goodness gracious me. 

So we went into our beautiful garden instead. 

  The grass was not even a bit hot. 

And I was Niamh’s best garden assistant. 

And we gave water to our beautiful plants.

And we filled up the outside bathtub. 

And we put the spray water everywhere machine in the side garden.

So all our tasty vegetables would be as happy as could be. Ha.

And when we came back in the house Craig was all awake too. Ha.

But it was time for Niamh to go to her lovely store. And she took her very fast bicycle.

So she would not be late.

Then it was a just Craig and Poppy day.

Craig found some very tasty chicken in the top of the refrigerator. 

So he put some right on top of my breakfast. 

And when he had his good morning coffee we had another piece of that tasty pastry. Ha.

And when he had his next another coffee we had another pastry.

Because the first bit was very very small. Ha. 

Then it was just the very best time for my morning nap.

So I stayed right beside my friend Craig so he would not be too lonely.

Because our friend Zita is still in way far away Wexford. Too bad for us.

It was a beautiful day outside after our lunchtime.

But we had our lunch inside. Where it is nice and very comfy.

Cousin Ciara sent us picture of the giant ocean. 

And they can see it right from the house.

And Zita’s mother brought her special tools. 

So she can look out the window and make a comfy blanket all at the same time. Ha. 

Zita and her own mother were outside on their patio this afternoon. 

But that patio does not have a nice swing along like mine. Oh well.

I do not think the sidewalks were too hot in that place. 

So maybe they went for a together walk today. Maybe. 

The colour of Craig’s hair got changed. Ha.

His sword cleaning stuff got in his hair and now it is gold. But not real gold. 

And only a little bit. Too bad for him. 

When Niamh got home I was very happy. 

Sometimes when people leave my house they do not come back home right away.

Sometimes the have go away suitcases and they go to way far away places. And they sleep there too. 

And sometimes they go for a long time. 

If their university is in a far away place. 

Emmet’s universities are alway far away. Too bad for him. 

How can I mind them when they are in way far away and I am here. That is not all right.

So I was happy when Niamh came home. 

My friend Craig does not go to far away places anymore. 

But one time he went out and did not come home. Only his go fast chair came home. 

And he went to a nasty food hospital. I did not like that either. 

But he came home. So I can mind him all the time. 

But Niamh did not stay with us tonight. 

Because tonight is the night for the restaurant with the very hard questions. 

So Niamh and her university friends always go. 

But they have never even won one time. Oh my goodness me.

So Craig and I are going to have our dinner with delicious food from way way far away China. 

A man will bring it and we will eat it. Ha. That is a tasty idea.

Maybe I will have a very nice nap when Craig watches a too scary movie. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Three

There was very loud thunder at my house last night.

But I went into the kitchen so my friend Niamh would not be too scared. Ha.

And we stayed there until the too loud thunder was all gone.

Because we are friends.

Craig and I only had a very very small sleep in this morning.

Because it was time for our breakfast.

And Craig had very tasty pastries from France for our breakfast. 

And they were all filled up with apples too. 

They were so tasty that we had another one when Craig had his next too much coffee. Ha. 

So then there was nothing left at all. Except some crumbs. Ha.

And then our mail man came and brought Craig a surprise.

A very special T-shirt from the country where all the very brave people are fighting the nasty Russians. 

And it is from a little company that even makes swords for knights.

And beautiful clothes for princesses. Ha.

And they made a T-shirt all about their war. Oh my goodness me.

That is a good company. 

So Craig bought one. 

But it took a very long time to get here.

Maybe because of the awful war. Maybe. 

Then Craig got one of our giant Scotsman’s swords out. 

And he put it on the dining room table. Oh dear me. 

Because Zita is still in way far away Ireland. 

Then he cleaned it all up. 

And then it as shiny as could be.

Just in case some of those nasty Russians come to our house. Too bad for them.

It is not a real very old sword like the very old ones in Emmet’s bedroom. 

That is why it is so shiny. Real old swords are not so shiny. It is known. 

My friend Niamh had a very big sleep in today. Ha. 

Because in the middle of the night Miss Billy and Mister Ben came to my house. From the aeroport.

Because they did not have a key to their own house.

But Niamh had their extra one. 

So they had to come here before they could go home. Oh my goodness me. 

But when Niamh was all awake it was lunchtime. So we had a little together relax.

And we had our together lunch. 

Then I minded Craig when Niamh went downtown to do some errands.

I had my nap on the very cool kitchen floor. 

Because it was still a little bit too hot to have a nice outside nap. Oh well. 

But it was not too hot in Killmore today. And it was not even raining at all. Ha.

So maybe Zita’s family went swimming in the giant ocean today. 

Because the waves were not so very big today. That is good.

Zita sent me some pictures.

So I could see her family when they went to a nice restaurant for an altogether dinner. 

And before their bedtime Zita and Auntie Eileen and the cousins went for a walk around.  

And they found a little restaurant with some only in Ireland black beer. And maybe some fat chips too. Maybe. 

And Mister Collin was there too. So everybody was very happy. 

This afternoon after I ate all my lunch I went in the den and I minded Craig.

Minding Craig is always an easy job. Because he does not go so far away. 

He reads his very interesting books instead.

So we just waited until Niamh came home from her important errands.

Because then it was our dinnertime. That is always a very good time. 

We had from the refrigerator pizza and lots of lettuce with a tasty sauce. Ha. 

I got some pizza bits. 

I always get some. 

Because I am the very best minder ever. 

Niamh went to visit Miss Sash after our dinner.

And Craig watched the giant worms movie.

So I had a very nice nap with my favourite pillow. 

And in a very little while it was our bedtime. Ha.
