Day Four Hundred and Seventy One

It is a way soggy day all day. My people friends are going out tonight to get their special get all dressed up treats. They will be all soggy. Maybe they will have scary umbrellas. Oh well.

I got in trouble today. There was a rabbit in my garden. It was hiding under the big fat bush. It will eat all my flowers and my favourite green beans. Nobody could see it except me. I could see it. I barked and barked but it would go away. I got in big trouble.

We will not have any nice flowers when it is new flower time. Everyone will be sad. Oh well. It is not easy being a dog. In this house.

Craig would hardly go out at all. Too much rain he said. He said he would melt in the rain. That is not true. He does not melt in the big bathtub.

Craig found my green ball under the big leather sofa. I cannot get on that sofa. It is known. Oh well. He got it for me and then we went out to throw the green ball just a bit. He did not melt. Ha.

Craig had to go and get Niamh and her dance friend from school. So their beautiful costumes would not get way too wet. Niamh's feet hurt in her very tall shoes. Oh well.

She is going out tonight in another costume with Emily and Cara. They will be soggy people. They will need warm cosy slippers and Irish tea when they get home.  It is known.

It is hard being a dog. Ask any dog. They will all say I am right. It is known. The rabbit is still there. Waiting. Me too. Ha.

I am going to the make me beautiful store tomorrow morning. Oh well.

Day Four Hundred and Seventy

When I got up there was a bit snow on the ground. It went all away before we got home from my walk.

Zita was very busy today. She practiced and practiced for her class at her university. I listened. I was a big help.

Niamh is going to be a lady from a while ago for Halloween. With a short dress. With a fringe. And a feather in her hair. Niamh and Zita were downstairs last night making it all nice.  With the loud machine for fixing clothes. I stayed upstairs and had a nap in the den. With Craig.

Craig and I played throw the green ball a bit today.

There were people digging a hole on my corner. I watched them. They waved at me. That is nice. I do not know why they dug the hole. Oh well.

There were squirrels on my patio. And on my trees. And on the steps to my house. I barked and barked until I got in trouble.  I hate squirrels. Emmet came upstairs and he chased them all away. That is good.

Zita and I went for a nice early walk this afternoon. Because she has to go to her university tonight.

day Four Hundred and Sixty Nine

We had a nice quiet day. We had a nice walk.

My friend Jamie went to his make me beautiful store. He is not so big today.  I am going to my make me beautiful store on Friday. Oh well. I will come home all beautiful. I do not like going to that store so much.

We have all our electricity today. Emmet did not get up way too early today. That is good. He chased me last night. He wanted to steal my blue bone. Ha.

He is writing and writing and writing stories for the nice lady down the street. All about another long ago war.

Zita is very busy. She has to teach at her new university tomorrow. Lots to read. It is known.

Craig is still a French policeman. A nasty person killed an old dog and his nice old man. That is sad The policeman caught her. They are in France maybe they will chop off her head.. That is what they do in France. Emmet told me. Too bad for them.

Craig and Emmet watched the television to see all the people who do not know how to tell the truth. Or answer questions. Craig said it is sad. The people forgot how to do their jobs without telling lies. That is not nice. They should get new jobs. It is known.

Niamh has a dance until late night tonight.

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Eight

I had a nice walk this morning. The pond is all empty and all the nice ducks flew away. Until next year. Oh well

It was a very quiet day. All the electricity stopped. All over. There was a fire up the street. Lots of very big trucks. All over my favourite streets. Big fix the electricity trucks too.

Emmet has a university holiday all week. He woke up way early because his make too much noise fan was quiet and he could not sleep.

He had to go to the university. All the computers in the whole house could not talk to the whole wide world. They need electricity to talk to each other. The university had lots and lots of extra electricity. So Emmet had to go to his university to use their electricity. Silly computers.

Emmet has to have his computers talking to all the world or he gets a headache. Silly Emmet.

The house was very quiet. Even the refrigerator where the carrot treats live was off.  No music. The house was so quiet I fell asleep on my cosy duvet. Oh well.

The nice lady's coffee store had all her electricity so Zita had to go there to get coffee and buns for her and Craig. I cannot drink coffee. That is why I do not go to the university. It is known.

Craig and Zita laughed a lot this afternoon. When we had all the electricity again. They were reading all about the people who do not know how to tell the truth. Craig said the chickens were coming home to roost.

That is not right. We do not have chickens at all. Sometimes he gets too confused. Because he is way old. That is why he always wants me to bring the ball back when we play throw the green ball. He gets confused. He thinks it is his game. It is not. It is my game. It is my rules. He is too stubborn. Because he is old. It is known.

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Seven

I had a very quiet day. Zita was off at her stay all day at the university class. We had a nice walk before she went off to her new university.

Craig spilled my water bowel this morning. He had to clean it all up. Ha.

I did not have toasts today. We do not have toasts on Sunday. We have bagels. From Mr. Kettleman's store. Sometimes when I go there the nice people give me bits they save for polite dogs who visit the store.

On Sundays Craig gives me the last bit of his bagel. That is nice. I like toasts better.

I had to wait a long long time to play throw the green ball . Craig had to drink two coffees. Too much coffee. Not enough throw the ball. It is known.

Niamh stayed in bed way long. When she got up we played a lot. That is good.

Then Niamh had to study all about a long ago war. The poor soldiers had to wear masks to keep them safe. Like Halloween I think. But no candy.

Niamh does not know what to be for her Halloween. She does not want to be a pumpkin. She wants to be a princess from Scotland who fights a big scary bear. If she is from Scotland she will have to eat porridge. Like Craig. Or the insides of sheep. Niamh will not like that.

She should be a nice pumpkin. You do not have to eat awful things to be a pumpkin. Ha.

Emmet does not go out on Halloween.  Emmet and I stay here and give away candy to people with scary costumes. We are not scared. We have a cannon in the basement. Ha.

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Six

It is a bit of a soggy dog day.

Zita went to her stay at university all day class when we finished our walk. It was very early. She took her coffee with her.

Niamh had a stay up late and laugh night with her dance a lot friends last night at her friend's house. I looked for her and she was not here this morning. Only Craig. Emmet was still asleep. He does not get up until way late in the morning. Or the afternoon. It is because his bed is way too comfy. Oh well.

Niamh and the dance friends came home for lunch and made the kitchen so messy I could not go in.

She said the silly movie was way way too silly for her. People threw away toasts. That was not so nice. Toasts are to eat. Not to throw. I like toasts.

Craig and I watched his football team in the den. I got on the cosy sofa with the big comfy pillows. Craig's team won. Ha.

Emmet is writing all about the old war where all the soldiers went to the wrong place and died. And their horses. That is sad. Horses should not go to war. They are too big. Everybody can see them.

Zita said her new teacher is nice. As old as Craig. Not as old as Uncle Bill.

After dinner Zita and I played Blue Bone. Zita plays Blue Bone much better than Craig. He is not fast enough. Oh well. Too bad for him.

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Five

The stones in my yard are nice and cold. I get to lie on them. That is good,

I had a nice walk this morning. The cars were all icy. Craig did not like it. Oh well.

Craig drove Niamh and Emmet to school this morning. It was cold. Ha. I did not think it was cold.

Zita had to stop writing and start to read. Zita has to read lots and lots and lots of new stories for her new class.

She has another new class at her new university. She has to go on Saturday and Sunday. No nice pancakes on Sunday. Too bad for them.

I saw my cousin Mattie on my walk this afternoon. He is older than me. And a bit bigger than me. And quieter than me. Oh well. He is still my cousin. That is good.

We had a little party tonight. Not a cheese party. Just Craig's mother and Paul. I got a cracker. No cheese. Oh well.

Niamh is going to an old movie where everyone dresses up and sings along. With her dance friends. It must be a very silly movie. There are no brave dogs in it Emmet says. Oh well.

Emmet's friend from way way long ago Mr. CĂș Chulainn had a dog. They should make a movie about them. That would be nice.

Thursday, 24 October 2013

Day four Hundred and Sixty Four.

We went for a long walk his morning. Zita had to put on her warm my hands gloves. The grass was all slippery and white. I like the smell. Ha.

It is good that the make my house warm machine is fixed or Zita would freeze.

Everybody is still writing for the universities. It is very busy in my house. It is good I have my comfy duvet so I can help.

Uncle Bill came over this afternoon so everybody could stop writing and drink coffee and eat gingerbread. And laugh. They said we are surrounded by scoundrelly people who take way too much money and have forgotten how to tell the truth. I always tell the truth. Dogs do not know how to lie. Those people must not have dogs. It is known.

Uncle Bill drove Emmet to his university. In his big truck. Uncle Bill had to put his very loud motorcycle away. It is too cold for motorcycles. He likes his motorcycle. That is good.

Craig's hockey team won last night. He was surprised. Me too. Craig's teams never win.

The black dog with the white tail came on my street again. I scared him away.  He should not come on my street. I have a nice street. Not a street for possessed dogs.

Zita and Niamh are going to trade you my clothes night. They take clothes they find hidden in the closets and bring home new clothes to hide. It is a good game.

Wednesday, 23 October 2013

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Three

It is our way too early day. I do not get to go on our walk until Zita gets home from taking Niamh to her way too early in the morning class. Craig does not make my breakfast until he gets home from driving Emmet to his university. I was nearly too hungry to go on my walk.  Oh well.

We had our toasts way late today. It was nice toast. I had to wait and wait until Craig finished his coffee before I could play throw the green ball.

Zita has her university tonight. Lots and lots of writing. I helped.

Zita made gingerbread to pay Paul to fix the all the lights in the house. That is good.

Today is Sava and Chris and Emmet's eat downstairs and play games. They got a new one today. That is nice. They are going to have pizza from Mr. Tony's.

Craig is still is a French policeman with a nice dog. It is a short dog. He lives outside. To guard the ducks. That is nice.

Tuesday, 22 October 2013

Day Four Hundred and Sixty Two

The make the house all warm machine man came. I only barked a little. He told me he has dogs on his farm. And cows. That is good.

Niamh had a sick tummy and a sore head so Craig drove Niamh and Emmet to school. That is what fathers do.

It is a very nice day. I played catch my green ball when Craig got home. Then he had to have his lunch. Oh well.

He is still a French policeman with a nice dog. And lots of food. But no girl friend. Too bad for him. No one to make him Irish chicken. Or cheese cake. Ha.

I have to go to the make me beautiful store. Zita says I am way too furry. Oh well. I do not like the make me beautiful store. It is far away and it is not my house.

I am beautiful when I leave. Then I can come home to my comfy duvet and my cosy bed. Going to the make me beautiful store makes me tired. I always have a nice nap. And I get treats for being very brave.

Emmet finished writing about way old monsters. Now Emmet is writing all about another old war. It is the war where they invented nurses. That is good. They have nurses at Dr. Smith's hospital. They are nice. I do not like to stay there. It is known.

Zita has to write about good and bad things. That is easy. Dogs are good. Raccoons are too bad. If I could read I could go to university. And eat donuts. Ha.

Day Four Hundred and Sixty One

A bit of a soggy dog day.

Our make the house all warm like breakfast toast machine is broken. We have to keep the doors closed so all the outside does not get in.

The make the house warm machine man is going to vist us tomorrow morning. I am not going to bark at him.

Everybody is still writing for their universities. Lots of writing.  I helped Zita move the cars. Then we went for a ride.

Craig's French policeman has a nice dog. That is a good book. Rabbits eat his green beans. That is way he has a dog. To chase the rabbits away. Ha.

Niamh is learning all about the old war with the generals who would not listen so well. Way too many soldiers died she said. That is sad. She said our soldiers were very brave. We took ridges and would not give them back. Ha.

Craig says there were lots of my Bouviers in that old war. We pulled little carts to take hurt soldiers to the hospital. We were a big help. More help than the generals Craig says. That is known.

Craig and Emmet bought fat cookies for everyone at the make good bread store. Not for me. Oh well.

Tonight is Niamh's dace late at night night.

Sunday, 20 October 2013

Day Four Hundred and Sixty

We all get up late because it is Sunday. That is nice. I had a nice walk. Then I helped Niamh with her homework. No dance a lot until tonight.

Everybody is writing. Except Craig. He just reads everybody's writing and makes changes. And he throws me my ball. He is still very stubborn.

He is finished being a Viking. He did not get his castle back. Maybe he is dead. He does not know. That is a way silly book. Oh well. Now he is a French policeman. With a very old car and lots of nice food.

Craig says they make very good food in France. That is nice for the policeman. Bouviers come from France. I have never been there. I get French cheese from Mr. Nicastro's nice store though. Especially the way smelly cheese. I can smell that cheese from far far away. It is good cheese. I do not get it all the time. Oh well.

Niamh and Emily and Cara went to Emmet's university to see interesting things. They did not tell me what they were going to see. Oh well.

Niamh and Zita and I went for a little car ride. To take Niamh to dance and to be a big help. That is what dogs are good at. Especially me.

Craig's football team won. He was way surprised too. Ha.

Saturday, 19 October 2013

Day Four Hundred and Fifty Nine

It is Saturday. I do not have toasts with Craig on Saturday. He has to have breakfast with all his way old friends. Oh well.

Zita cut the lawn all short. I got in the little car so I could be a big help. I like sitting in the car. I can see everybody on my street. They do not see me. Ha.

It is a soggy day.  I was a very soggy dog. I had to stay in the kitchen and lie on my new fluffy towels. Oh well.

Everybody is writing for the universities. I had a nice nap on my cosy duvet. Squirrels do not have cosy duvets. Ha.

Niamh's dance friends came over and made lunch. They are very loud and laugh a lot. They were so loud I could not have a nice nap. I had to come out to see if they dropped any cheese. Oh well.

There is lots of thunder and lightning. I do not like that very much. I get on the big bed on my comfy duvet. Thunder cannot get you when you are on your comfy duvet. It is known.

Zita goes out in her big nice car in the thunder. I do not like that. She should stay home on my comfy duvet.

Craig and Zita have to go out to a birthday party tonight. I am in charge Zita says. No one will listen to me. Oh well. It is hard being a dog in this house.  It is known.

Day Four Hundred and Fifty Eight

It was a very nice day. I had two nice walks.

My tummy is all nice. I did not have to go see my friend Dr. Smith. That is good.

Craig came along with us this afternoon for a long walk. We went to a bunch of stores. I had good lessons. I saw lots of nasty squirrels. I did not chase any of them. Nearly. Oh well.

My corner is way too busy. Car and trucks all over. Lots of people making the new houses all finished.

And they are making movies in my park. I do not know what it is about. I am not in it.  They have so many big noisy trucks. And way big lights. And the pond is empty. That is good. The way big lights would scare all the ducks. Maybe they will scare all the nasty raccoons who hide in the park. Ha.

Emmet walked all the way home from his university today. His insides are getting all better. That is good.  I do not chase him all over the house before dinner any more. Maybe later.

We still have lots of leaves on the trees. I chase the leaves when the wind blows them. I always catch them. Ha.

Day Four Hundred and Fifty Seven

Big trouble today.

I went on my walk this morning. The nasty raccoons tried to murder me. They pushed a garbage can over and pulled out the turkey garbage on to someone's lawn.

I ate some. Before Zita could stop me. Oh dear. She is afraid I will get a way too sick tummy. She called Dr. Smith. He said they have to watch me. Oh dear.

Raccoons hate dogs. I was tricked. Oh dear. I hope I do not get a way too sick tummy.

Craig could only give me little bit of breakfast. I played throw the ball a lot. Craig had to watch me. It was still nice.

Niamh forgot her phone today. At home. Niamh has to have her phone or she get a headache. It is known.

Craig is a Viking again. He has to find a new castle. Nasty people stole his old castle. That is what Vikings do. Steal people castles and their boats.

Craig should read books about nice people who take their dogs for long walks. And find treasure. Those are good books I think.

Craig and Niamh watched a movie last night all about the bad generals in a long ago war. Way too many people died. They were bad listeners. It is known.

Craig's great Uncle Austin rode a horse in that war. With a Lord. He had a sword too. He did not die. That is good.
