Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty Two

I was very busy last night.

Miss Emily came to visit me and Niamh.

And they stayed up talking for a very long time. Even after Craig was fast asleep.

And I had to mind them. Even when it was past my bedtime. 

And they were drinking a brand new bottle of wine and eating the very chocolaty happy birthday cake. Oh my. 

But I got some treats. Ha.

This morning Niamh brought her comfy duvet back upstairs so we could have a lovely good morning nap together. 

And when Craig got up I got cheese treats on my breakfast. Ha.

Then he went into the den to watch the little fast cars race and Niamh went back downstairs.

So I went into the den to mind Craig. That is an easy job.

It was only very hot today. That is good.

Yesterday it was way way too hot. So nobody was outside. 

So I did not have to look out my watching window so much. 

Because there was nobody there. 

Even my friends the ducks were hiding in the other pond. Under the giant trees. Ha. 

It way far away Ireland it got so hot Emmet had to take off his beard. 

So he would not melt.

And when Zita got there he did not even have his beard on at all. Oh goodness gracious. 

But Zita recognized him anyway. 

They do not have so many make you house nice and cool machines there. Too bad for them.

When Emmet was at his long meeting everybody stayed outside. 

Because it was way too hot inside.

And the meeting was not even so interesting at all. Oh my goodness me. That is not all right.

Today Zita and Auntie Eileen are in far away Kilmore. 

That is where Zita’s parents are. Beside the ocean.

They have been going there nearly for ever. 

My friend Cousin Orlaith got their picture and sent it to me. Ha. 

It was not so very hot there today.

Cousin Lucy and cousin Orlaith were there too.

So they can be a big help. That is a nice idea. 

I did not think it looked even a bit too hot there today.

It does not get so very hot there.

Because it is a very small place and the way too hot cannot find it. Ha. 

That is why Zita’s family always goes there to hide from the way too hot. 

And to watch all the fishing boats. And get ice cream from a little store. 

Watching those boats would be interesting. We do not have fishing boats here.

Because the giant ocean is too far away. 

Their giant ocean was full of lots of windy waves today. Oh dear.

But this afternoon they went swimming anyway. 

Even in all the waves. Oh my goodness. 

Even Zita and Auntie Eileen too.

At lunchtime Niamh came back upstairs to have some too much coffee.

And she had it outside in my side yard. 

So I went outside too to keep her company.

But we got too hot so we came back in.

And Niamh got back in her comfy duvet.

So we had a very nice relax in our living room.

But before dinnertime she went to the grocery store and got some delicious sausages.

Because we had sausages and toasts with eggs for our dinner. 

Niamh and I did not go for a little amble before dinnertime.

Because for a while there was lots of rain and I did not want to get all soggy. 

So I just had my first dinner and minded Craig.

And then all of a sudden Zita was on the other flat computer. 

And she was still in way far away. With Auntie Eileen too. 

And some of our lots of cousins. And her parents. Ha. 

They are all together staying in the same house. Oh my goodness me. 

We had an early tasty dinner so Niamh could visit Miss Sash and not go to bed too late. 

I got some very delicious sausage bits on my second dinner.

Then Niamh went to visit Miss Sash.

I stayed here to mind Craig. That was an easy job.

Because he just watched another football game on the television.  Oh well.

So I had a nap until it was my bedtime. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty One

When I went to fast asleep last night there was only Craig in the big bed. 

Because Zita is in was far away Ireland. Too bad for me.

And this morning when I was fast awake I forgot that she was in way far away.

And I looked for her in our office. But she was not there.

But Craig got up very early so I could have my morning breakfast and not starve. 

In Ireland the silly train left before Zita could get on. Oh my goodness gracious me.

But Auntie Eileen found her and together they drove all the way to Cork.

In Auntie Eileen’s teach you how to drive car. Oh my goodness me.

But it was a just all the time rain day.

So they did not see any interesting. Not even any cows. Oh well.

But when they got to Cork they found my friend Emmet and Miss Alice. 

So they all went to have a delicious together diner. 

Right in downtown Cork. 

At a restaurant where they make brand new especially delicious food. Ha.

That was a good idea. 

Cork is not such a very big city. 

So they did not get even a bit lost. That was good. 

And when they finished their dessert Zita and Auntie Eileen drove all the way to Auntie Eileen’s little house in Wexford.

But they did not get there until it was bedtime. Oh my goodness.

When Niamh was all awake she brought her very comfy duvet upstairs and made a bed on the sofa. 

And we had a very lovely together time this morning.

Craig did not go to the park for his old friends breakfast this morning.

Because all his old friends came here for breakfast.

Right in our side yard. 

Because we had the brand new extra birthday cake that Craig’s mother did not want. 

So everybody had birthday cake for their own breakfast. Oh my goodness me. 

I stayed outside to mind everybody.

Niamh stayed inside and had a nice nap.

Until it was time to ride her fast as the wind bicycle to the lovely store. 

Then I got too hot and and came in for my lunchtime nap. 

My cool kitchen floor is the best place for nice naps. It is known. 

Craig and I stayed inside our lovely not a bit too hot house today.

Because it was very hot outside. 

Too hot for even a nice side yard nap. Oh well.

So after our lunch Craig and I went in to the den so her could read his book and I could mind him.

When Niamh got home she got back into her comfy duvet bed and we listened to some music. 

On the back music machines.

Then it was time for dinner.

But it was too hot. for cooking. We started but it was too hot.

So a man brought us little bits of tasty chicken and cold milkshakes. 

After our dinner Craig watched a movie that had giant scary worms. 

So I did not watch it. 

I had a very nice nap instead. Until it was time for us to go to bed. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty

We had a very busy day today.

First Zita and I had a nice little amble with Professor Jill and Mister Willey 

Then we had our breakfast.

But Zita was very busy filling up her going far away suitcase. Oh dear me.

Because it was today that Zita had to find the very best aeroplane to take her to way far away Ireland. 

And today was Craig’s mother’s sing happy birthday day too. 

So we had a very busy morning. 

Craig only had time for one too much coffee before they had to go to his mother’s apartment.

Because the nurse had to make sure Craig and Zita were not sick. Oh my goodness me.

And Auntie Jane’s aeroplane found our city all by itself. So she could visit too.

So Craig and Zita and Auntie Jane and Mister Paul had a happy birthday lunch with her.

But she did not know who they were. 

Because she is very very old. Oh my goodness. 

She did not even know it was her happy birthday day. 

And she did not even want to have any cake. Or open her presents.

Opening presents is my favourite job. Oh my goodness me. That is too bad. 

So when Craig and Zita and Mister Paul came back to my house they had a brand new cake.

And lots of very delicious sandwiches too.

From the very tasty foods store. 

And when they were coming home there was a giant truck in front of our old house.

And it was putting sones right on the road. 

And it was very noisy. 

But Craig and Zita and Mister Paul were back in my house for only a little while.

Because right then it was go to the aeroport time. Oh goodness gracious me.

So Mister Paul drove Zita to our aeroport in her go fast car. 

So she could find a aeroplane that knew where Toronto was. 

And then she was just all gone. 

And I was very very sad. I told Craig. He was sad too. 

But my friend Niamh was all awake and she gave me lots of hugs. 

Niamh got back to our house very very late last night. 

But she was all awake before Zita flew to way far away. That was good. 

And she brought back presents for us. 

Very very beautiful paintings of not so very fierce bears. Ha. 

Those were beautiful presents. 

Then Mister Paul brought the go fast car back. 

Because Zita found just the right aeroplane to go to Toronto. 

And did not need her go fast car. 

So it will have its own vacation until my friend Zita comes back home. That was a good idea. 

After I had my with chicken lunch I went to fast asleep. In the living room minding Craig.

Because Now I am in charge. Oh dear. Too bad for me. 

But it was hard to have a nice calm sleep today.

Because my street was all full of those noisy giant trucks.

Because some men are making a big house even bigger. And making too much noise too. 

Right on my own corner street. Oh my. 

So I hid behind a chair. Too bad for them.

When Zita got on the aeroplane she had her very own comfy pillow and a nice just for her table. My goodness me. 

Because she found a very nice from France comfy aeroplane. That is good. 

Maybe they will have croissants on that aeroplane. Maybe. 

Pillows are my favourite.

I even have different pillows for my bedroom and the den. Ha. 

Craig and I had toasty croissants and cheese for our together dinner.

But I only had to mind Craig.

Because Niamh was just fast asleep and Zita is at the aeroport and Emmet is in way far away Cork. Oh my goodness me. 

Then Craig watched a football game and I minded our own office from underneath the very tall desk. 

We cannot watch detective programs when Zita is not here. It is our rule. 

So Craig watches loud movies about fierce long time ago knights and scary Vikings. Oh well.

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Seventy Nine

Zita and I are still on vacation. Ha. I did not know we had a long vacation. That was a good idea. 

But we did not have a sleep in today.

We had a long together relax in the living room and looked out at the whole world. 

And then Zita used her not so very pointy scissors to make my front feet all tidy. 

When Craig was all fast awake had his coffee he had two very lovely pastries too.

And they were just filled up with apples. Ha. 

I helped him. Because we are old friends. 

Then the go fast car took Zita to do some shopping. 

To find some nasty headache medicine for Emmet.

So she can bring it to way far away Cork. 

Cousin Ciara is going to find her at the way too busy aeroport in far away Dublin.

And bring Zita to the train station. 

That is where you can find the trains that know how to find Cork City.

And not get lost and go to Donegal by mistake. 

Sometimes people go to Donegal by mistake and never can find their way home. Oh my goodness me.

And Auntie Eileen says there are too many not so empty bogs in Donegal. Oh dear. I should not like to go there. 

But today Niamh and Miss Tarryn have to find an aeroplane that will bring them back here. That is a good idea.

But I do not think our aeroplanes know how to find way far away Donegal. That is good.

Today Niamh and everybody went and visited a famous very beautiful lake. 

Right where the mountains are. 

They went very very early in the morning. 

Before lots of people came to visit and got in the way of the beautiful lake. 

A long time ago Craig and Zita a very little Emmet visited that lake too. 

And it is still there. 

And now my friend Niamh and Miss Tarryn were there too. Oh gracious me. 

But there was not so much snow there today. 

When Zita was shopping I had my before lunchtime nap.

In the living room so I could mind Craig at the same time. 

I did not go outside for a nice relax at lunchtime today.

Because it was too sticky hot. 

So I stayed inside so I could help Craig and Zita with their very delicious cheese sandwiches. 

And then it was my own lunchtime and I got chicken too. Ha.

And then Zita made my back feet all as neat as could be.

I was a very very brave dog. 

So I got bean treats. From my own garden. Ha. Good for me. 

But then I had a long nap.

Because getting as neat as could be is very tiring for me. 

But my new kitchen rug was very comfy. That is good. 

There is a football game up on the busy street tonight. 

Maybe this time Craig’s team will win. Maybe not. Oh dear. 

It is still a bit too hot for a nice amble around. 

And I was a bit tired too. 

So I just watched all the lost cars from my watching window. 

Then we had very tasty hamburgers for our dinner. That is a nice idea. 

We cooked them outside so I could be Zita’s best helper. Ha.

Niamh will be home very very late tonight when we are all fast asleep. Oh my goodness me.

So I will not be even a bit awake. Too bad for me. Oh well. 

We only watched a very little bit of our detective program tonight.

Because Zita was very busy find clothes for her visit to way far away Ireland. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Seventy Eight

We went for a very little just here amble this morning.

Because it was too sticky hot for a long amble. So we came home for a relax..

Because Zita and I are still on our vacation. Ha. Good for us. 

Craig did not have a nice sleep in today either.

Because nurse Jesse came to bring a new bandage. 

But before Nurse Jesse was her Craig and Zita and I had our together breakfast.

And Craig and I had very tasty full of oranges muffins. I got two pieces.

Because I am on vacation.

Then Zita was very busy getting all her important things all ready for her trips to way far away Ireland. 

Because you do not want to forget anything.  

It was still a too hot day outside so I went out for a little nice sniff around. 

To make sure everything was all right and safe.

But Craig and Zita forgot I was outside.

And it was very hot outside and I nearly melted. 

And I had to bark loudly two times before they remembered. Oh my goodness me. 

But then I came in and had my before lunchtime nap with Craig. 

In the lovely cool house.

It is still very hot all over everywhere. Oh my. 

But it is not so very hot right beside the ocean where Zita’s parents are hiding from the too hot. Ha.

That is good. 

And there is a ice cream store right there if they get too hot. Ha. That is a good little town.

This afternoon I had a very big nap. On my new comfy rug in the kitchen.

Because Miss Tarryn’s mother Miss Pam came and painted bits of my living room and dining room.

But they were only bits. 

And they were all different colours. Oh my goodness me. 

Now we have to find the colours we like the very best. Oh dear.

And the colours change when it is very sunny outside. I do not know why.

That is why I stayed in the kitchen on my rug so I was not painted all stripey. Good for me. 

And then Miss Pam came in a painted stripes there too. 

But when she was all finished I got chicken treats on my first dinner. 

And then the go fast car took Zita shopping for some delicious groceries. 

Because it was way too hot to go shopping on her not very fast bicycle.

Today Niamh and all her friends went to a very lovely not so very big lake. 

And it was right in the mountains.

And there were people in row yourself boats. 

And my friend Niamh went swimming. 

I did not think it was a go swimming lake.

I thought it was a too cold for swimming lake. But Niamh went anyway. Oh my goodness me.

I went to my watching window so I could wait for Zita to come home. That is an important job.

So I got Craig to come in to help me. 

It was a very beautiful afternoon outside today. 

But it was too hot to go outside for a nice relax. 

So Craig and I waited at the windows.

When Zita came home she had tasty treats for Craig and my together breakfasts. Ha.

Because Zita is going to visit her parents and Emmet in way far away Ireland.

And she is going to take a do not fall over and crash train all the way to Cork. 

So she can visit Emmet and bring him lots of just from here things. 

Susan came over for a visit on our outside swing. 

She just got back from way far away England. It was too hot there too. 

Then we had our dinner and we had chips and fish and our own very delicious green beans. 

Last night we had ice cream and wonderful raspberries right from my garden. Ha. Good for me.

Then it was time to watch our new detective. 

And the lady detective lives on some very far away islands. With hardly any people.

With the most dangerous hills ever. 

They just end and the very cold ocean way way way down. Oh dear me.

I do not think that would be a good place for Craig’s go fast chair. Or me. It is known. 

Day Three Thousand Six Hundred and Seventy Seven

I am still on vacation. Ha. That is a good idea.

But I forgot to tell everybody something.

Yesterday when Zita came back from the too much of everything store she brought me a present.

And now I have a brand new very comfy rug for my kitchen. Ha. 

That was a very nice surprise. 

After our breakfast the go fast car took Zita to the busy street to visit Doctor Don. He is our dentist. 

It is another very hot day today but the go fast car is as cool as can be inside. Ha. 

And it too hot all over everywhere.

Craig’s friend Mister Adam was in way far away Ireland on a little vacation.

But when he went back to his very old beautiful apartment in far away Paris he melted. Oh dear me. 

And he does not have a make it cool machine. 

Because is apartment is way too old. Oh my goodness me. 

And it is too hot in Ireland too. 

It was even hotter then on my street. Oh my goodness me. 

But our family is swimming in the giant ocean. So they will not get too hot. 

Even Auntie Eileen and Zita’s father. 

The water is not so very warm in Ireland. Oh goodness gracious me. 

After Craig and I had our toast I went outside for a little sniff all around. 

But I did not stay for a long time. 

Because of the too hot. 

But it is only a bit hot where the giant mountains are. 

So Niamh and Miss Tarryn and Miss Billy are not melting away. That is good.

Today they went on an adventure. 

Niamh and Miss Tarryn and Miss Billy and Mister Ben and his friend Mister Drew.

Mister Drew lives there. In the mountains. Oh gracious me. 

It was not way too hot there. 

Because the giant mountains keep the sun away. Just like a hat. Ha.

And all the sheep clouds too. 

And they even saw sheeps. Oh my goodness me. Right there on the mountain.

And after a while there was a bear. Right outside. And everybody saw it. Oh my goodness me.

It was on the other side of a scary fence. 

So it did not eat anybody all up. That is good.

And everybody had go fast bicycles and bears cannot ride bicycles so well. That is good.

Craig says there are lots and lots of animals in the mountains and even lots of very big Moose. 

And even the very very scary grizzly bears. Oh my goodness me.

But those mountains are very big and the animal do not like people so much. So you cannot see them so often.

Because lots of people are too loud and smelly too. It is known. 

So they just hide in all the trees until the people go home for dinner. Then they all come out. 



There are lots and lots and lots of places to hide if you are a bit of a shy animal. That is good. 

Craig and Zita had to have a lovely relax day. 

Because the do not just die shots made them a bit sore all over and even have nasty headaches. Oh dear me.

So I will take care of them. 

Because that is my very best job. 

I had some happy cows cheese on my lunch. 

Craig did not even have any lunch.

Because of the nasty headache. 

And Zita went out for a relax on our lovely swing. 

But I minded her from my watching window.

When she came in she used the not very noisy machine to make Craig’s new pants perfect.

I stayed right under the dining room table so I could mind everything. Ha. 

Emmet’s very old university has their very own bees. Right there at the university.

So they can make their own very university tasty honey. Ha. 

And they even sell it to people. Right there in the university. Oh my goodness me. 

Then a young lady came to our door. But my fierce barking scared here. Oh dear.

I did not mean to scare her. I just wanted her to know I was guarding my house. Oh dear. Too bad for me.

So I went into the den so I could mind Craig and not get into trouble. 

That was a good idea for me. 

Today is the special day for castles in way far away France. 

That is where all the lovely Bouviers came from. A long time ago. 

I think Craig should find us a castle. Just for us.

With a river all around.

And an up and down bridge.

And lots and lots of beautiful towers. 

And I would be the fierce castle dog who keeps everybody happy and safe. 

That would be a good idea. 

Maybe Craig can find us one for Merry Christmas time. Maybe. 

We only had a little dinner tonight because everybody was too tired after their shots. That was a good idea.

I had a big dinner with chicken. 

Because I did not have a nasty headache. 

After we played the rope game it was time for our detective program. 

So everybody went in the den. Me too. Ha.
