Day Three Thousand and Sixty Four

It was sleep in Sunday so everybody had a sleep in. Ha.

Craig had a bigger sleep in than everybody else.

He always has long sleep ins.

Because when we go to bed Zita and I go to fast asleep right away.

But Craig has stay awake so he can watch the television.

So it can tell him what is going on all over everywhere. Oh well. Too bad for him.

When everybody was all awake Zita found Miss Tarryn at her house.

Because Miss Tarryn and our go fast car are going all over everywhere for Zita.

To bring little Merry Christmas presents to everybody at the rascal ladies office. Ha.

Craig and I had the very long cheesie bread for our breakfast.

And when Zita was back home I had toasts with Zita too. Ha.

That was a very good breakfast morning.

And a new present man brought a very big box of secret presents for Niamh and Emmet.

But our Emmet is not even here. Oh dear me.

Today our cousin Orlaith’s friend Mister Evan brought Emmet Merry Christmas secret presents from Dublin. Ha.

Mister Evan lives in Cork too. But he does not go to Emmet’s very old university.

Because now he is scientist. And his office is right in Cork. Ha. That is interesting.

There is a beautiful Merry Christmas tree in Zita’s parent’s house too.

It is full of lots of decorations too. That is good.

Zita was very busy this afternoon.

Because she was making some very special little Merry Christmas cakes. From Scotland.

They are Bonnie Dundee cakes.

Just like the song Craig used to sing to Emmet and Niamh at nighttime. When they were little.

It is not such a very good go to fast asleep song for little children. Oh well.

The cakes are just for doctor Susan and Zita. But they are not for even nice dogs.

Because they are just full up to the top with raisins.

Dogs cannot eat raisins or they get way too sick and maybe just die. Oh dear me.

That would not be so nice at Merry Christmas time.

This afternoon Mister Furrgus and I minded everything. Ha.

He has a Scotsman’s giant sword. To stick right into nasty people. Or scary wolves. Ha. Too bad for them.

His brother Mister Festis and his uncle Colonel Dugal were still fast asleep. Ha. Too bad for them.

Before the special cakes got cooked in the oven Zita and I and Professor Jill went for a nice together walk.

It is not warm anymore this afternoon. It is just windy cold. Oh well.

So everybody had their toasty warm coats on. That was a good idea.

But we were nearly frozen cold when we got home. Oh dear me.

Then the special for Merry Christmas were all cooked.

But nobody can eat them for a bit of a long time. Oh well.

Niamh was very happy this afternoon.

Because one of her very big stories got the very best letter it could ever get. Ha. That is good.

But now she is studying for a remember everything exam. Oh dear. Too bad for her.

I did not like my exams so much. So I did not go to them so often. Ha. Too bad for them.

I only had to mind Craig and Zita tonight.

Because Niamh went to Miss Anna’s little apartment for dinner.

Then we had to watch the messy detective with the not very fast car.

Before we could go to bed. Ha.
