Day Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Six

My friend Zita came home last night.

And she brought presents from way far away. Ha. That is good.

Niamh got giant chocolate bars and a not even a bit full book. Ha.

And Craig and I got brand new Scotsman’s jam. For our good morning toasts. Ha. Good for us.

And Craig got a comfy warm fuzzy shirt too.

And then a man brought us very tasty food from somewhere very far away.

Because everybody was too tired to turn on the oven. Ha.

After dinner we watched a detective program. Until Zita was too tired.

Because of the wrong clocks in Ireland. So we went to bed early. Ha.

Going to bed early is my favourite.

And this morning Zita and I went for a very long walk.

And we found professor Jill and the other little dog. They were going on their walk too.

So we all went together.

When we got home Craig was all awake and dressed too.

So we had our altogether toasts. In front of my watching window. That is just right.

Then Craig and Zita had to read some interesting stories for their own work.

So I had a very nice nap. It is easy to have nice naps when everyone is back home.

Where I can be their fierce minder dog.

Except for Emmet. Oh dear. Too bad for me.

He is still at his old university. Reading his very very old stories.

Sometimes he says that they are not so interesting stories. Oh dear. I do not know why.

He should not read them. He should only read the interesting ones.

The ones with brave dogs who help everybody. And bite nasty people all up. Ha. Those are good stories.

After lunchtime Zita drove Niamh to her beautiful clothes store.

And Craig was in the den.

Because he is still looking for someone for the princess. In long time ago England.

We will not have an altogether dinner tonight because Niamh has to be at her work until late.

Zita will be fast asleep when she gets home.

Because of the wrong clocks. Oh well.

Maybe we will watch some detectives before Zita is fast asleep. Maybe.
