Day Two Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty One

Craig did not go to his old friends breakfast restaurant today.

He had a big sleep in instead.

Because of the not very all right shoulder. Again. Too bad for him.

But Zita and I only had a little sleep in.

Because we had to go for our good morning to everybody walk. 

And it was not raining outside this morning. That was good.

When Zita went to the stretching store Craig got all dressed. And was all wide awake too.

And then we had the oatmeal cookies for our breakfast. Oatmeal cookies are not so good for tasty breakfasts.

Because they are not so crunchy. Oh dear.

Breakfasts should be crunchy. It is known.

When Zita came home we had very crunchy toasty for our lunchtime. And jam too.

Outside in our side yard. Ha.

And Niamh went up to the busy street to get lots of tasty treats for the Mahoney’s cottage. 

You cannot not go visiting friends without bringing something delicious for everyone. 

Maybe some from far away smelly cheeses. 

Or maybe very fat donuts. 

Or giant bags of chips. It is the rule. 

Craig says I have to get a new big red ball.

Because mine is not even a bit round anymore. And it has holes in it.

Maybe because I bit it all up. Ha. 

Emmet went for his afternoon walk today. It is not a rain all the time day today. 

So he will not have to ware his comfy pajamas when he get home today. 

After lunchtime Zita went to visit Craig’s mother. 

And maybe take her for a walk to get croissants. Maybe.

I stayed here to mind everything. And Craig too. 

He and I were very tired so we had a quiet afternoon. That is good.

Mister Tom came to our house. With brand new interesting from way far away programs. 

So we can watch them. After our dinnertimes. On the television. With chips. Ha. 

He is a nice man. I only barked a little when he came to my door. Ha. Good for me.

Then Zita went to the too much of everything store. To get lots of things for Craig’s mother.

When she came home I took her for our nice before dinnertime walk. 

In the bright as can be sunshine. But we did not have a very long walk.

Because it is very hot in the lots of sunshine. Oh well.

After our dinner maybe we will watch brand new detectives tonight. Maybe.
