Day Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Three

I was awake very early today.

So I got Zita up very early too. She was surprised. Ha. Good for me.

We had a very busy day today. 

We got up early so we could go and have a nice long sit down in our side yard. 

Before it was way too hot. 

And so Zita could talk to her mother at a nice time in way far away Dublin too. 

Because all the clocks in way far away places are always just wrong. I do not know why. Oh well.

Mister Collin made some tall do not have to sit down gardens. 

So Zita’s mother can grow lots of lovely flowers and maybe some tasty vegetables too. 

And not get her bottom all wet from sitting on the ground. Ha. That is a good idea.

Then Zita and the black go fast car went to the busy street to help Profesor Jill. 

With all the delicious vegetables they got from all the nice farmers. 

And Zita got us delicious very thick Scotsmen’s scones for our together breakfast.

And when she got home Craig was all awake too. 

So we had the scones and brand new fat strawberries outside in our side yard. 

That is my very favourite place to have breakfast. 

This morning Zita cleaned all my watching windows. From the outside too.

Because sometimes my nose draws beautiful pictures on the windows when I am guarding my house. Oh well. 

Niamh was up early too. 

Because she and Lee and Cara had to go to a surprise outside picnic. In Miss Lily’s backyard garden. 

In the backyard you can be far away and still hear people talking to you. And not get sick. Ha.

Zita got a whole big bag of brand new peas. From the very nice farmers. 

And she got some for me. But I gobbled all of them right up. 

So I could not play my favourite find the pea game. Oh well. Too bad for me.

Tomorrow Emmet is going to a very interesting meeting. At a university in way far away England.

It is the very big all about everything from a very long time ago meeting. 

Where his friends are going to be telling everybody all about their very interesting brand new stories. 

But everybody can only go on their own computers. From their own houses. 

And it is on lots of days. Not just one. 

You cannot have important meetings for telling lots and lots of very interesting stories in only one day. 

Because there are just too many interesting stories. 

But sometimes the very interesting stories are told at the very same time. 

And Emmet can only see one story at a time. Too bad for him. 

And they are very early in the morning.

Because of the wrong clocks again. Oh dear. Too bad for him.

He will have to make his good morning tea very early. Ha.

And there are even stories about ghosts. Ha. 

Because they had lots of castle in a very long time ago. And that is where ghosts live. Ha. 

Emmet and Niamh went to lots of way far away castles. 

Before I was here to mind everybody. And scare any ghosts far away. 

Because dogs are not afraid of ghosts. It is known. 

They did not see any ghosts in way far away. That is good. 

Maybe because they only went to see castles in the daytime. That was a good idea. 

Ghosts only come out at nighttime. That is why they are all white. So you can see them. Ha.

But I am all back so they cannot see me. Too bad for them. 

Zita went to have a not very close visit with doctor Susan before dinnertime. 

We will not have an altogether dinner tonight.

Because Emmet has to play with his all over and very far away friends. Oh well.

We started to watch a lady detective in far away Ireland. But not Zita’s part of Ireland. 

The detective is in the other part of Ireland. The dangerous part. Oh dear. 

I should only like to be in the nice parts. Where all the cousins live. 

And people have tasty sausages for their breakfast. And all the time tea. Ha. That is the good part.
