Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Seven

Today is Emmet’s and Niamh’s sing happy birthday day. All day long. Ha.

So Zita and I got up very early.

And went on our good morning walk and it was nearly not even morning outside. Ha.

So we had an early together breakfast before we went to our own office early. 

Niamh was up early too.

Because Miss Tarryn took her out to get beautiful new fingers. For her birthday. 

I tried to get Craig up early too. 

I got up on the big bed lots of times and gave his lots of kisses.

But he had to wait until Zita could paint his a bit sore toes all red. Then he got up.

So then Craig and I had late toasty croissants with too much butter. Ha. That was a good idea. 

When Niamh and Tarryn came back to my house they brought our giant Merry Christmas tree into the house. 

And put it in the living room. 

Craig said it was the perfect Merry Christmas tree. But Craig always says that.

Because he says every Merry Christmas tree ever is the perfect Christmas tree. That is true. 

Niamh talked to her Nans in way far away. And she said happy birthday to Niamh too. 

They are going to talk to Emmet when he is finished his important meeting. 

Because it is his birthday too. That is silly. 

I do not know if Emmet will have an all on fire cake at his little apartment. Oh my goodness me me. 

Maybe we can have a just for him extra cake when he come home. That is a good idea. Good for me. 

Tonight when Niamh has her sing happy birthday party.

And she and her friends are going to put all our very beautiful decorations all over the tree. And drink champagne too. 

Craig and I had Chinese egg roll ups for our lunch. That is always a very delicious lunch. 

After the tree was all up and did not fall down Niamh and Tarryn went out to do some important 

errands.

Maybe for secret presents. Maybe.

So Zita and I went for an after lunchtime walk. 

It was not so cold again. That was nice. 

When we got home Zita went back to her rascal ladies work but I had my afternoon nap. Ha.

When Zita was all finished work she went to my nice hospital to get my own medicine. Ha. That was a good idea. 

Niamh’s grandfather called her on the telephone. To say happy birthday too. 

Because he was not at home when she talked to her Nana this morning. 

Then Niamh and Tarryn made beautiful big round Merry Christmas decorations. In my kitchen.

They used Christmas tree branches.

So I helped them. Niamh said I was a big help. Ha. Good for me.

Then we talked to Emmet. In his very little apartment. He had a keep you warm water bottle. 

Because it is way cold in his apartment. Oh my goodness me.

Miss Alice’s mother sent Emmet a sing happy birthday day cake. That was nice.

But he can have a another one when he gets home. And it can be an all on fire cake. 

And we can sing the happy birthday song. Zita said so. 

Then Craig and Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and Lee and Cara had lots of tasty cheese in the living room. 

And wine full of bubbles all the way from Italy. Even the bubbles were too. Ha. 

When we were making the tree as beautiful as could be. 

So I got to help. That is my favourite job. 

Niamh got a brand new very very cosy Scotsman’s shirt. 

When Dugal saw it he asked if now she had joined the Black Watch to be a soldier.  Ha.

I do not think that is so very true. 

And she got special for wine glasses

Because she got bottles of very special wine too. 

And a very furry cosy blanket.

Because Emmet will be home soon and he will want his cosy blanket back. Oh my goodness me. 

Then we had a giant all on fire cake. 

And it was all made of ice creams. Ha. 

Because ice creams cannot catch all on fire. Ha. That was a good idea. 

And we sang the happy birthday song. And so did I. 

Because it is my favourite song. It is known. 

We did not watch so much of the detectives tonight.

Because of the sing happy birthday party. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Six

It was a back to work Monday so I had a nice quiet day.

Because everybody is always very busy on Monday. 

Zita and I had a very nice good morning walk. And it was still not cold. So everything is too messy outside. 

So when we came home I had a very nice nap.

Niamh was very busy writing even more stories.

But Craig stayed in bed for a long time.

Because his foot was a bit too sore so Zita put a brand new bandage on it. Then he got up.

I did not eat my breakfast this morning.

Because Craig was not all awake to have our together toasts. 

I always have toasts with my friend Craig. 

But today he had to stay in bed for too long.

That is not all right.

So I could not eat my breakfast. Too bad for me. 

But when he got up he found some delicious cheese for my breakfast.

So I had my breakfast at lunchtime. Oh my.

Then Craig had two toasty warm croissants when he had his to much coffee. 

And I had to help him. That is a delicious job.

Then I went back into the living room.

And Niamh was still writing her story.

So I stayed in the living room to mind her. 

Craig and Zita were right on everybody’s computer. 

Last night when she was at our house the nice Doctor took their picture. 

And I was there too.

But I was a bit fast asleep. Oh well. 

So now everybody knows they got their next do not get sick and die shots. Ha. 

When Craig was reading Niamh’s next story Niamh made everybody some toasty cheesie nachos. Ha. That was a good idea.

Some almost fell right on the floor. But they did not. Oh well too bad for me.

So we had our first dinner very early today. That was a good idea. 

But Craig and Zita only had soup for second dinner.

Because of all the cheesie nachos. 

Miss Tarryn came to our house tonight so she could help move everything all around.

So there is lots of room for our very very big Merry Merry tree. That was a good idea. 

Niamh was still very busy with her lots of stories. Oh my goodness me. 

A giant bigger than me secret present came today. Ha. 

Secret presents are my favourite.

After dinnertime Craig and Zita watched the two lady detectives from France. 

From right where Emmet’s friend Nina lives. 

When she is not at her very very old university in England. Oh well. Too bad for her. 

It is Emmet and Niamh’s sing happy birthday day tomorrow.

But it is already tomorrow in way far away Ireland.

Because they have wrong clocks over there. 

So we said Happy Happy birthday to Emmet. On the flat computer. Ha. Good for us.

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Five

It was a very busy day today.

And it was sleep in Sunday but only Craig had a nice sleep in.

I did not have a nice sleep in.

Because Zita and I went for a very nice long walk. It was an early walk.

Because today was a spic and span house day. Oh dear. That is not my favourite day.

And then Niamh brought lots and lots of branches into the kitchen.

So she could make Merry Christmas decorations for her friends.

Because she went to a friend’s house to put up their Merry Christmas tree.

And have drinks too. 

But I could not have my own good morning nap. 

Because the kitchen was way too busy. Too bad for me. 

And Craig was just listening to his book and did not get up until lunchtime.

So I had to wait and wait for our together toasts. That was not so very nice. 

It was another not so cold outside day. But it was still all windy. 

I did not have a very good morning. Too bad for me. 

Then we had visitors with Merry Christmas tasty treats. It was Miss Adriana and her mother.

They always make Merry Christmas treats for us. That is alway a tasty present. 

Visitors are my favourite. 

And after they went home Craig and Zita fixed our little hall table. With very special glue. 

So now the hold the door owls will have their place back. 

Then we had more visitors.

Miss Brenda and Mister Rob came for a before Merry Christmas drink some tea visit. Ha. That was nice.

Visits are my favourite. Especially Merry Christmas time visits. 

Because everybody is happy at Merry Christmas time. That is good. 

And even after our dinner we had another visitor.

The nice other Doctor came to our house to give Craig and Zita their another do not get too sick shot. Ha.

And it did not even hurt them. That is good. 

My nice Doctor Weller already gave me my stay well shots. Ha. Good for me.

We gave her some very tasty cookies. Ha. That was a nice idea. 

Tonight Craig watched the very important last football game. 

But his team did play.

Because they did not win so very often this year.

So the game was only a bit very interesting. Oh well. 

Yesterday I helped my friend Niamh draw a beautiful picture of me. 

Right on her new flat computer. 

With a pencil that draws right on the computer. I never saw that before.

Zita and I did not have to watch the football game. 

So well had a lovely relax in the living room. That was a good idea.

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Four

We only had a very little sleep in today.

Because it was a busy day today.

When I looked out my watching window it was not even cold. Just lots of messy rain. Oh dear.

So Zita drove Niamh to her job and then she went to the too much of everything store.

I stayed here. I did not stay on the big bed to keep Craig toasty warm.

Because he got all dressed so he could have his coffee with his old friends. In the den.

When he was talking to everybody when Zita came home. She had lots of big bags full of delicious food.

And then she went into the den so she could bring Craig his next caffe and brand new croissants. That was nice.

I stayed in the den to help him with the delicious croissants. Ha. 

I got some happy cow cheese on top of my lunchtime treats. Ha. That is very tasty cheese. 

Then when Zita and I were in the kitchen all of a sudden Auntie Jane and Mister Paul were here.

For a nice visit. And I did not even know.

Because Craig thought it was a tomorrow visit but it was a today visit. Oh my goodness me.

Craig got the day wrong. Too bad for him. 

Auntie Jane had her lunch with Craig’s mother. 

Because she is Auntie Jane’s mother too. That is interesting. 

Zita wrapped the secret presents for Auntie Jane and Uncle George in Merry Christmas paper.

So she could bring them home to Toronto on the aeroplane.

And then Zita and the go fast car took Auntie jame right to the aeroport so she would not be late. That is good. 

Then Zita went to do some more secret present shopping. Goodness gracious me. 

So after Mister Paul went home I had a very nice nap. 

Because I had a very busy morning. 

But I did not go outside into my side yard after lunchtime. 

Because it was just a melting all over afternoon.

And I just wanted to be comfy warm and dry as a chip. Ha. 

When Zita got home she had some secret presents.

Because next week is Emmet’s and Niamh’s very own sing happy birthday day. 

And it is the very same day. That is silly.

But my friend Emmet can not be here for his own party.

Because he will still be at his way far away in Cork university. Too bad for us.

But the nice man found a do not get lost aeroplane for him. 

So then he will be back here in his very comfy bedroom. Ha.

Zita went back outside to do more shopping.

And I went into the living room to look out my watching window. And have a nice nap too. 

When Zita came home Niamh and Tarryn were there too.

So we had a big together dinner.

Then Niamh and Tarryn watched a movie downstairs. 

Because there was way too much windy rain to go outside. 

So Craig and Zita and I watched our detective program. 

I had a nice nap too. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Three

Today was a do not go to work holiday for Zita and me.

Because we worked so much for the important meeting and the beautiful clothes party.

But we did not go for our good morning walk.

Because it was a very good day for a relax. 

So after we had our breakfasts I minded Zita while she made the refrigerator as clean as could be.

Now there is lots of room for brand new food. Ha.

Niamh was very busy writing a new but not so very long story. 

So I had a nice nap under the dining room table and minded her. 

At lunchtime Zita and I put on my green shoes and went for a lunchtime walk. 

It is not cold outside today so everything is very messy. 

And we went right by the noisy men digging the hole even bigger. 

And now they have lots of trucks too. Oh goodness me. 

I did not bark at them. Ha. 

But they are not finished their digging. 

And they will have to come back again. Oh dear me. More noisy days. 

When we got home I had to stay in the kitchen until I was not soggy.

But my friend Craig stayed with me and we had our together round toasts. That was good.

When we were in the kitchen Zita was outside moving lots and lots of the all over everywhere snow. 

When Zita came in she read Niamh’s new story so it would be beautiful. 

I had a lovely nap. Right beside Zita and Niamh. 

Then Zita went down the street to visit Craig’s mother’s little apartment. 

So Zita could put up lots of very beautiful Merry Christmas time decorations. 

And see if her pretend ears still work. 

This afternoon had to be very quiet because Niamh had to have a talk out loud to her computer exam. 

Right in the dining room. Oh dear me.

Being quiet is not such an easy job for me. 

But I was extra extra quiet. Ha. Good for me. 

When Zita came back home she had tasty food for the nearly all empty refrigerator. That was a good idea. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Two

Zita and I went for a very nice long walk this morning.

There was even more snow all over.

Because it was snowing all last night when we were fast asleep. 

We went to visit our empty little lake. 

Even in the lots more snow but Zita’s brand new long coat kept her as warm as could be.

And I am still very furry so I was not a bit too cold. Ha. 

But I had to wear my brand new green keep my feet dry boots. Oh well.

Because it is the winter time. 

When we got back home we had just enough time for our together breakfast before it was time to go to our office.

But it was very noisy outside today. 

There was a man with a giant saw cutting a big hole in the sidewalk. 

And even the all frozen grass too. 

Right outside our office windows. 

And it was a very very loud saw. It even got Craig all awake too. 

So he got up all by himself. I did not help him at all.

Because I did not know he was fast awake. Oh well. Too bad for him. 

Then a digger machine was here too and it made the hole even bigger. 

I do not know why they made the hole.

Craig said maybe because the men from yesterday could not find what they lost under my corner. Maybe. 

When it was our lunchtime we had hotdogs. Everybody had hotdogs. Even me too.

Hotdogs for lunch. Ha. That was a good idea.

Then I had a nice nap.

Because the noisy men were all finished. 

Zita had lots of on her computer meetings this afternoon. So I had to be very quiet. 

So I was. But not all the time. Oh well.

Before our dinnertime Zita went to the beautiful presents store. 

Maybe to find secret presents. Maybe. 

She always finds beautiful presents at that store. So that is a good store. 

I stayed here to mind Craig and Niamh. That is my very best job. 

And when Zita came back home she had three little fat cheesie pizzas. Just for us. 

Because she went to the especially delicious pizza store that Craig used to go to.

When he was going to our nice university. 

That was a very long time ago. Oh my goodness me. 

So we did not have hotdogs for our dinner. We had pizzas. Ha.

Pizzas are my favourite. 

Maybe we will watch a new detective program tonight. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty One

We got up early today. 

But not way too early this morning. That is good.

Zita did not get home until way past our bedtime last night. 

Because she was at the beautiful clothes dinner party until it was all over. Oh dear me.

Everybody was there. 

Even the Mister Prime Minister too. My goodness me. 

And he brought some big fierce dogs with him. And they had their own uniforms. 

They came to look for scary things. 

Like bombs or dangerous wolves or maybe even some very angry elephants. Oh my goodness me. 

And they looked and looked and looked everywhere and they did not find anything at all. That is good. 

But they all got tasty treats anyway and went home for their after dinnertime naps. Ha. That is a good job.

This morning we were still very busy in my house. 

Niamh went to her new job at the lovely things for lovey people store.

And Zita had to go back downtown for an big rascal ladies meeting.

So when nice Nurse Jesse came there was only Craig and I here. 

But she did not need my help today. 

So I went and had a very nice nap in the kitchen. 

Because I was very sleepy.

Because I was fast awake until very late last night.

But I woke up when Zita came home early from her important meeting. That is good. 

Then for lunchtime Craig had used from China tasty soup. And two egg rolls. They are from China too. 

I got the crunchy end bits. 

I always get those bits. They are very tasty. And very crunchy too. 

We had a very quiet nice afternoon. 

Because everybody was way too tired to be busy. Good for us. 

Niamh had dinner with her friends tonight so only Craig and Zita were here for me to mind.

I think we will watch a new detective after we finish our dinner.

Maybe we will have popcorns again. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty

It was another get awake very early in the morning day today.

Because today is the day for the very important rascal ladies meeting today.

And everybody was there to talk all about lady rascals. 

And there were real lady rascals there too. Ha. 

And tonight is the get all dressed in your most beautiful clothes party. Oh my goodness me.

So everyone was all awake way too early.

And today is Niamh’s early in the morning class too.

So after the go fast car took Zita to downtown Niamh’s friend took her to their class in his little car.

Then there was just me and Craig here.

So we had a very early together breakfast with round toasts. 

But not the all full of holes toasts. 

We had different round toasts today. But we still had jam on top. Good for us.

And after I had my breakfast I had my morning nap.

Because I was up very early this morning. 

Craig just stayed in the living room so he could look out my watching window for me. Ha. 

And some men came with two trucks. And a giant hammer and an axe too. 

To look underneath my corner. Oh my goodness me.

Craig said he thought they lost something. 

Because they looked in other holes too. But he did not know why.

I did not know either because I was fast asleep. Ha. Good for me. 

When I woke up it was just the right time for my lunch.

And then Craig had a peanut butter and honey sandwich. 

But today it was an all toasty peanut butter and honey sandwich. Ha. That was a tasty idea.

After lunchtime Craig watched a scary movie. So I had another nice kitchen nap. 

Niamh and Miss Tarryn came home from their nice university before dinnertime.

But they did not stay here.

Because they had to go to see their university friends to play the questions game. 

And have a tasty dinner too.

But I could not go too. And I asked them lots of times. And I asked very loudly.

But Niamh said that even nice dogs like me cannot go to that pub. 

That is not such a good restaurant. Too bad for me. 

So I had to stay here with Craig. 

He decided to have a nice person bring us some very delicious from China egg rolls. Just for us.

Because Zita is at the big party and not here with us. 

So she cannot have delicious egg rolls with us. Too bad for her. 

There is another hockey game on the television tonight. 

That is why we are having the from China treats.

Because you have to have tasty treats or your team cannot win. It is our rule.

Craig’s team even won last night. Ha. He was surprised too. 

After our treats I will have a nice nap. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Nineteen

We got up very very early this morning.

Because there was snow all night long. And this morning there was freezie rain too.

And I had a sick tummy.

Maybe because of eating the icy snow. Oh dear me.

Zita and I did not go on an adventure walk this morning. 

Because she was too busy taking away the too much snow. Oh well.

There was lots and lots of snow off the driveway and the go fast car too.

And she had to be very fast. 

Because she had to go to the giant building downtown. 

Where they are going to have the rascal ladies parties. 

To get everything perfect. Oh my goodness me.

And it is right beside the empty canal. That is nice. 

This morning there was so much snow even motorcycles could not go on the street.

One had to go right on my sidewalk. Oh goodness me..

There was so much snow that Zita was even a bit late. 

But it is an everyone is late day today. Oh dear.

Craig got up very very early too. Too bad for him.

And when the go fast car took Zita downtown we watched out my watching window.

And there were too many just get all stuck cars. Right on my corner. Oh my goodness me.

And lots of them did not have their do not get stuck in the snow tires on. That was silly.

Because there was lots and lots of slippy slidey snow all over everywhere. 

But nobody got squished. That was good. 

The watching window was so interesting Craig had two coffees. 

And we and had raspberries triangles both times.

It was a very early in the morning breakfast for Craig.  

And when Zita got downtown she went right to the giant party place. And she sent me pictures. 

She did not go to the other rascal ladies office. 

And then it was started to get warm outside. And everything started to melt. 

So then everything was even more very slippy. Oh goodness me.

When my friend Niamh was all awake she talked to her grandfather on her telephone.

Because today is his sing happy birthday day. 

The other day was has sing happy birthday party day. Ha. 

Before Niamh went out to do her errands she took even more snow away from my side yard.

But then I was so hungry that I asked Craig for my lunch. 

And he even had some all ready. With pumpkins too. Ha. 

I finished it just in time for my after lunchtime nap. Good for me. 

Emmet’s faraway university is going to be all closed as can be tomorrow.

Because of a very big storm. But it will not have even a bit of snow. 

Just way too much windy rain. 

I think Emmet will just stay in his little apartment and drink lots of Irish tea. And maybe have biscuits too. 

You can not get all soggy if you stay inside. Even if the inside is very little. Ha. 

And Emmet’s very old university has its own Merry Christmas tree. 

Right where is office is. That is nice. 

Mister Paul came to have tasty muffins with Craig and to borrow some giant scissors. 

The drugstore called to say that I did not have any money to buy my medicine. Oh goodness me. 

I did not even know that. Oh dear.

But Craig found his I have money card. And he bought it for me. 

Because we are best friends.

Then Niamh came home Miss Tarryn was with her. And they were both as soggy as could be.

Because it was raining outside. 

So now the snow is a heavy as can be. So they only moved some of it all away. 

And Niamh had to make sure the big black hose was taking all the too much rain far away from our house. 

Then they both had to do homework for their university classes. 

So they stayed in the comfy chairs living room. So I could mind them. Ha.

And they music machine played Merry Christmas music for us. That was nice music.

And a man brought me my do not be sore medicine. That is good.

I was not too sore today. Good for me. 

Zita could not come home for our together dinner.

Because she was way too busy at the party place. Oh dear.

So Niamh and Miss Tarryn had their diner right in the living room.

Because they were very busy with their homework. 

Craig had a very fat peanut butter and honey sandwich in the den.

So he could watch his not so very good hockey team. Oh dear. Too bad for him. 

I had to help him with the sandwich because it was too fat. 

When Zita came home she was very tired.

So we went to our very comfy bed. 

Because tomorrow is the rascal ladies important party day. 

All day long. Until after dinnertime. Again. Oh dear me. 

Zita took all her most beautiful clothes and her especially lovely shoes with her today.

So she cannot forget anything tomorrow. Ha. That was a good idea. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Eighteen

We had a very little sleep in this morning.

Because our day was as full as could be with things to do. 

There was even more snow all over everywhere this morning. 

So we did not go for our good morning to everybody walk.

But today was Zita father’s sing happy birthday day. Even in faraway Ireland.

So Zita and Niamh called him on Zita’s telephone. 

Niamh was not so wide awake.

Because she was out very late at the beautiful Merry Christmas tree party. 

With all her lady friends. Oh my.

But she pretended to be all fast awake and talked to everybody in the house in Dublin.

And the cousins were there. We saw them. Ha. 

And we saw the as beautiful as could be birthday cakes.

And there was a very special lovely picture happy birthday cake. 

And it had Zita’s father in his beautiful garden. 

Right on top on the delicious cake. Ha. That was a good cake.

And then Zita’s father cut the cake into lots of pieces. 

So everybody could have some. That was a good idea.

And they had so many cakes. I saw them. And some whipped cream too. Ha. 

Zita’s mother was there to help. Because whipped cream is her very favourite.

They had to have lots of cakes so none of our cousins would starve all away. That is a good idea. 

And even baby Rian was there. To help with the all on fire cake. Oh my goodness me. 

Then we said goodbye.

Because we had even more things to do. Oh my goodness me. 

And Craig got all dressed by himself. When we were talking on the telephone.

And I did not even have to help him today. Ha. That was a good idea. 

Then Craig and I had our together lunch. 

And today we had special toasty triangles. 

Filled all up with raspberries. Ha. Raspberries are my favourite. That was a tasty lunch.

Then Zita had one too. So I helped her. That was a very good lunchtime. 

After I had my lunch Zita and I had a very long walk. 

All the way to our little all frozen up lake. 

It was not even a bit hard to walk. Because my feet are all neat and tidy. Ha.

But when I got home I had to stay in the kitchen.

Because I was all covered in snowballs. 

Craig told me I had to stay in the kitchen until I melted. Oh my goodness me. 

I did not think that was such a nice idea. 

But it was only the snowballs on my feet that had to melt. Not all of me. Ha. 

That was good. 

Then Zita had to fill up the car with important stuff for the rascal ladies important parties. 

And then the go fast car took her downtown to her other office. Even on a Sunday. Oh my goodness me.

But this morning when I went into our den there were beautiful shoes everywhere. 

Because Zita had to find the most beautiful shoes for her special at night beautiful clothes party. Ha. 

My shoes are not so very beautiful. Just toasty warm. 

I do not get to go to nighttime beautiful clothes parties.

Because I have to mind our own house. 

And maybe everybody inside. If they are all at home. It is my very best job. 

So I do not need lots of beautiful shoes. It is known. 

This afternoon Craig had to watch the important football games. 

So I minded him. In the den.

When Zita came home we had dinner right away. 

Because Niamh was with her friends. And not here with me. Too bad for her.

But we have to get up very early tomorrow morning.

Because of the very important parties.

So we only watched a bit of the sad detective tonight. 

Then we went to our comfy cosy bed. Ha.

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Seventeen

We were all awake very fast this morning. 

Because there was lots to do. All day long.

Zita talked to her mother in faraway Dublin and then Niamh did too.

But when they were talking all of a sudden it was snowing. 

And just like that there was snow everywhere. Oh my goodness me. 

There was so much snow Craig did not want to get out of his comfy warm bed.

So I jumped right up onto the bed to get him all awake as could be. Ha. That is an easy job.

Because I am very big. 

Then when Zita took Niamh to her brand new job at the little store Craig and I had two round toasts.

For our together breakfast. 

So then Craig went in the den so have his coffee with all his old friends. Right on his flat computer.

But Zita had to have a rascal ladies meeting for a very long time. 

Because of the very soon very important rascal ladies parties. Oh my goodness. 

My friend Emmet sent Craig a picture of a soldier’s uniform. 

He was shopping at very old interesting stores with Miss Alice. 

And when he found it he thought maybe it was our Colonel Dugal’s own uniform. 

Because maybe pirates stole it. 

But it was not Colonel Dugal’s. 

It was for an Irish soldier. Not a Scotsman soldier. That was good.  

So Craig told him so. So he was not so worried. That is good. 

This afternoon Zita made my feet all neat and tidy. 

Because they were way too furry and sometimes my feet would slip. Oh my goodness.

She used my special not too pointy scissors. Ha.

Then it was time for her to go to the grocery store up on our busy street.

She took the snow away from my side yard. 

But I could not be a big help. Too bad for me. 

When Zita came home she took Niamh and Miss Tarryn to Miss Tarryn’s apartment. 

To get Miss Tarryn’s and Miss Anna’s Merry Christmas tree all beautiful.

And to have lots of delicious treats. And tasty cheese too. Ha. 

So only Craig and Zita had dinner with me. 

Then we watched more of the sad detective from faraway Wales. And I had a little nap. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Sixteen

It was a very sunny outside this morning.

But we did not go for a walk today.

Because I had to have a little rest. 

Because I had a sore leg yesterday.

So Zita and I did not get up so early today.

So we had lots of time for our together breakfast. 

Then I got up on the big comfy bed to keep my friend Craig toasty warm.

But when we got up there was only one round toast for our breakfast. Oh dear.

So we had two of Niamh’s Merry Christmas tree cookies as extras. Ha. That was a tasty breakfast.

When Niamh was upstairs and had her breakfast I helped her too. 

Then the go fast car took Zita and Niamh to her favourite class at her nice university.

And Niamh drove the car all by herself. Ha.

When Zita got home we had lots more rascal ladies work to do. 

So I went into our own office to be her best helper. 

Today I saw my friend Emmet’s brand new interesting story all about the scary Druids. In his Dragons game. 

And Emmet wrote it all by himself.

I did not get to be a big help this time. 

Because he wrote it in his way far away in Ireland university. Not here with me.

But I saw it right on our computer. And it had scary pictures too.

But there were no nice pictures of Emmet. Or of me. Oh well. 

Maybe the next time. Maybe. 

At lunchtime Zita went for a little run all around. Even in the cold.

I stayed here so I could rest my leg. And mind Craig too. 

But when Zita got home so did Niamh. 

And then they both went downtown in the go fast car.

Zita went to her downtown other office.

Because they are very very busy. 

Next week they are have their two very lovely parties. In a giant giant room. 

And they will have lots of delicious treats. Oh my goodness me.

When everybody wears their most beautiful clothes ever you have to have very delicious treats. It is the rule. 

I do not know where Niamh was going. 

Maybe it was a secret. 

So I minded the house and Craig all by myself. 

But minding Craig is not such a very hard job. 

So I can mind him and have a nice nap at the very same time. Ha. 

We had a very very fat peanut butter and honey sandwich. It was too fat.

Because Craig is not such a very good bread cutter. Oh well.

It was a very tasty sandwich anyway. 

Zita came home with Niamh. 

But Niamh did not even come in the house.

Because she had to go to Lee and Cara’s house. 

So they could make their Merry Christmas tree all beautiful.

Craig and Zita had cheese toasties for dinner. I had some too.

Then we watched the sad detective from way far away Wales.

But there was not even one dragon in the program.

So I had a nice nap. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Fifteen

Zita and I had a nice walk this morning.

But not a very long walk.

Because I was a bit too sore.

And it was an all the time rainy morning.

And there was not even a bit of sunshine.

Just full of rain clouds. 

And the lots of rain made lots of leaves fall off.

And washed all the snow away too. 

So our beautiful bushes are now nearly all empty. 

But I was a soggy sore dog when I came home. Oh well.

So Zita gave me some of my do not be sore medicine and then we had our together breakfast. 

Zita did not go to her downtown office today. 

Because she had to wait for the present man to bring her something important for the rascal ladies giant party. Oh dear me. 

Before lunchtime a present man came here. 

And he brought a package. But it was for Emmet. It was not for Zita. 

Maybe it was a secret present. Maybe.

Niamh made Merry Christmas cookies last night. 

So Craig and I had some for our breakfast. 

Merry Christmas time is my favourite time. 

My friend Garry came to visit my this morning. 

And he brought Zita his what day is it today book. He gives us one every Merry Christmas time. Ha.

He said my big cousin Mattie is fine. But he is a bit too furry. Just like me. Oh well. 

Craig and I had some very delicious round toasts for our lunchtime. 

And I had pumpkins on my own lunch. Good for me. 

This afternoon Niamh went to Miss Tarryn’s aunt’s beautiful things for nice people store. 

Because she is going to work there for a while.

Niamh did not want to work at the giant restaurant all the time anymore. 

Because she always had to stay until way too late at night. 

And was way too tired for her early in the morning university classes. Oh my goodness me. 

Nobody wants to be way too tired.

When I am tired I have lots of very comfortable places for nice naps. 

Everybody should have a comfy place for nice naps when they are even just a bit tired. 

Even at work. That is a good idea. 

The lovely table in our hall got a broken leg. Oh my goodness me.

So Craig is going to fix it.

Because he knows all about broken legs. Ha. Good for him. 

He has to fix it soon.

Because that is where my friends the two keep the bathroom door open owls live.

Now they have to sit on a far away bookshelf. 

But that is not their very own place. That is not alright. 

Zita was very busy all afternoon talking to people on the telephone. And she did not need my help. 

So I had a very nice relax.

All afternoon on my cosy rug in the kitchen. 

Right until it was nearly my dinnertime. Ha. Good for me. 

So I had a very good rest. 

Craig and I had a before dinnertime cookie.

But we did not tell Zita. Oh my goodness me. 

I only had to mind Craig and Zita for dinner tonight.

Because Niamh had dinner at Miss Tarryn’s and Miss Anna’s apartment. 

We will watch the two lady detectives from France tonight. 

And they are mother and daughter. But nobody knows that. 

I do not know why. Oh my goodness me. 

Maybe we will have popcorns tonight when we watch those detectives. Maybe. 

Day Three Thousand Four Hundred and Fourteen

We did not have such a big sleep in today.

But we did not have to go to our office.

Because it is no work for us Wednesday. Ha.

But when I went into the side yard there was a little bit of everywhere snow. 

So we did not go for a good morning to everybody walk. 

Because I did not to have soggy cold feet. 

So we just had our together breakfast and then I minded Zita.

She was very busy sewing her beautiful clothes for the rascal ladies very big parties.

There are two parties. And she has to have different very beautiful clothes for each one.

And they are on the very same day. Oh my goodness me.

And she was trying on her different make you very tall shoes. They are very loud shoes. 

Then Craig got all dressed too.

Because today nice Nurse Jesse came to my house.

To put brand new make you feet skinny bandages on Craig. 

I did not have to stay with Craig all the time today. 

Because Nurse Jesse is a slow and kind nurse. Ha. 

So I did not have to gobble her all up if she hurt Craig. Good for us.

Last night my friend Niamh and her university friends did not win the lots of questions game. 

At the busy street pub. Oh well.

But she had a litt bit of a headache this morning. 

But it was not a sick tummy headache. That is good. 

It was a sore ear headache. I gave her lots of kisses. 

So it will be all better. Ha. Good for me. 

After lunchtime Zita tried on lots of different clothes. And Niamh and I helped her. Ha. 

Because we are beautiful ladies too. Good for us. 

The after lunchtime sunshine took away nearly all the everywhere snow. That is good.

So Zita and I went for a very nice afternoon walk. 

Before it was scary dark. Ha. That was a good idea. 

We found Professor Jill on our walk.

When we got home Zita and Professor Jill had to go out to do some important errands.

So I stayed here to mind Niamh and her headache. That is an important job. 

We had very tasty sausages for our dinner. 

Zita and Niamh found them at the special only Merry Christmas tree farm.

Then Niamh went downstairs for a nice nap.

And Craig and Zita and I watched the from France detectives.
