Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty Three

We got up early again today.

Because Zita and the go fast car had to go to the county. To Mister Saint Albert’s delicious cheeses store. 

Because they sell giant pieces of their very delicious cheese. The grocery stores only sell little bits. Too bad for them.

Zita saw all the farmers and their cows too. She said the fields full of brand new corns were all green again. 

Because of our lots of rain. Ha. That is good. 

When Zita was gone in minded everybody else. 

I went into the big bed room lots of times. To tell Craig what I saw out my watching window. 

It is my job. When he is in his broken legs bed. That is my best new job. Ha. Good for me.

And when Niamh was nearly all awake I helped her make a delicious cake. To take to Richard’s and Kathy’s lovey cottage.

But yesterday a big piece of Kathy’s giant tree fell down. At her very near us house. 

Right on the front lawn. 

But it squished their neighbour’s very beautiful garden. And even their front porch too. Oh goodness me. 

That is not so good.

When Zita came home I was very glad to see her. 

Because I think that she should not go where there are smelly cows without me.

Lovely Bouvier dogs are the very best dogs for minding lots of smelly cows. 

So they do not step on people and squish them. It is known. Ha.

Then Mister Paul came to borrow the go fast car. 

So he could go to Mister IKEA’s store and to Mister Lee’s Vally. 

To pickup a secret present for Tara.

Because she moved into a different little apartment. In Toronto with Mister Taylor too. Ha.

We got her two lovely cutters. To help her make her own delicious raviolis. 

Tara makes delicious own made pasta all the time. Just because. Ha.

Now she will be able to make delicious tortellinis as quick as can be. Ha. That is a good present. 

It was still a very hot outside day today.

So Emmet only went for a very little afternoon walk. 

But yesterday way way far away where we have our giant mountains it was our very hottest day ever. Oh goodness me.

I think I would just be a puddle dog if it was so hot here. 

But it was not so hot here today. Just a little bit way too hot.

So Zita went to the front garden to give all our beautiful plants their water. 

Plants do not like the way too hot so much. Me either. 

This afternoon Zita had to do some errands. Because of Craig’s mother’s ear helpers. 

Craig and I had a lovely nap.

When Zita came home Craig got into his fast chair and I woke up. All by myself. 

Then we looked out our watching window and Emmet made our dinner. We had very very tasty meatballs. 

Niamh could not have her dinner with us because she had to work until late tonight.

Because her store is all open again. Oh goodness me. I do not think that is a very good idea. 

Tomorrow she is going to the beautiful cottage and not going to the beautiful clothes store. Ha. That is a good idea. 

You can not go swimming in your too small bathing suit at her work. Ha. Too bad for them. 

There was a noisy giant for fires truck on my street. Right before dinnertime. 

But I fierce barked it away. Ha. 

After dinnertime Zita went to find Niamh and Miss Tarryn. So they can get everything already for their tomorrow adventure.

Maybe Craig will watch the hockey game. But maybe not. His team did not win the last time. 

He thinks they will win if he does not watch. 

Mister Ryder and David will watch the game at their cottage. It is just a bit away from Kathy’s cottage.

So Mister Ryder can come to visit everybody. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty Two

We got up very early this morning. Again.

But we did not go for any walks.

Because it was still too hot outside. Even in the early morning time. 

So when Niamh was all awake Zita and the black car took her to her downtown work. 

I stayed here and had a very nice nap in the living room. By myself.

Because all the boys were still fast asleep. Ha.

When the go fast car brought Zita home Emmet was all awake but I could not mind him so much today.

Because Zita and I were very busy with our rascal ladies work.

Because tomorrow we start our very little vacation. Ha.

So we had lots of important work to get all finished up. 

Before our little vacation. 

But I had to stop helping Zita for a little while because then I had to help Craig with his giant croissant again. Ha. 

At lunchtime Zita had to go to a store to get Craig’s mother’s hear better machine fixed.

Because she forgot it and it got all washed up in the clean clothes machine. Oh goodness me.

After our lunchtime I had a very nice very quiet nap in the rascal ladies office. 

We saw the silly bunny rabbit yesterday. I am glad it did not get caught by that coyote.

It is our silly bunny rabbit so I will mind it from that coyote. But it is still a silly bunny rabbit. It is known.

This afternoon I minded Emmet right in the living room. 

And sometimes I went into the kitchen to have a nice nap on the cool floor.

This afternoon Craig put on the very fat cast and got into his go fast chair. That is good.

Because when it is my dinnertime and Craig always knows where the special only for me bagel cheese is. Good for us. 

And Emmet was all finished his writing for today so he went for his little before dinner walk. 

It was only too hot this afternoon not just way too hot. 

Far away where the giant mountains live it was so hot the roads were melted. Oh my goodness. 

It was not so hot here. That is good.

Tomorrow the nice men and their very big garbage truck come to our house.

So I helped Zita get all the garbage into the big roll around cans. For the garbage truck to gobble up. Ha. That is a good truck. 

A whole bunch of very loud fast aeroplanes flew right over my house. Lots and lots of times. Oh dear me.

They were so loud they could not even hear me when I barked loudly at them. Too bad for me. 

We had a very tasty dinner tonight. Zita made us a for shepherds pie. That is our favourite dinner. 

But Niamh missed our delicious dinner. I do not know why. Too bad for her. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty One

It was back to work Monday today. 

So Zita and I got up very early this morning so we could go on a very little good morning to everybody walk.

We went before it was way too hot outside again. Good for us.

After we had our together breakfast I went back to the big bedroom. 

And I went back to fast asleep on my very comfy duvet. 

And I had my own soft pillow too. 

So Craig and I had a together nap.

Then Niamh was all awake too. 

So I got up right away so we could look out my watching window. And have my next breakfast. 

But only for a little while because she had to go to work too.

And she went on her very fast bicycle. Even in the too hot. 

The go fast car would have taken her.

But she wanted to go with her favourite bicycle. Oh well.

And when Emmet was awake he found a good day to get his last do not get all sick shot. Ha. That is a good idea. 

Soon all my own family will be all shot up. That is a very good idea.

When Craig was all awake we had a giant toasty croissant. With jam. Ha. 

Then I went back to help Zita with her rascal ladies work. 

And Craig listened to his very long interesting book.

It is all about English and Russian spies a long time ago. When everybody had very fast horses. And canons too. Ha. 

But Craig did not get into his fast chair today. 

Because his leg wanted a vacation so he did not put his not very comfortable cast on. Oh dear me.

Everybody is going to have a vacation this week. Because it is our country’s own day. 

Niamh is going to the Mahoney’s cottage. Miss Tara is going to be there too. All the way from Toronto. 

And Mister Kirian and Mister Aidan too. Ha. Zita is going to drive Niamh and Miss Tarryn. 

With the car all full up with delicious food for Niamh and Miss Tarryn to cook right at the cottage. 

You cannot visit your friends and not bring lots of delicious food too. It is our rule.

When all the Mahoney’s come to our house for giant dinnertimes they alway bring lots of wonderful cheeses.

From nice Mister Nicastros delicious cheese store. Because it is their rule too. Ha. So that is a very good rule. 

Niamh is even going to stay there for some days. 

Because she bought a brand new very very small bathing suit. 

So now she has to go swimming in the very big lake. To make sure it is not way too small. Ha. 

Emmet went outside for a very little while so he could sit underneath his favourite tree and look at our beautiful pond.

But he only stayed a little while.

Because it was so hot even my friends the ducks were all hiding in the falling over trees in the other pond. Oh dear.

We had very delicious hamburgers for our bedroom altogether dinner tonight. And some chips too. 

Then Craig had to watch the hockey game tonight. 

Because his team is playing for a giant prize. Ha.

So maybe Zita and I will go to fast asleep early tonight. 

We have lots of pillows but my pillow is the very best pillow of all. Ha. Good for me.

Some dogs do not have their own comfy pillows. That is not so very alright. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty

It was sleep in Sunday. 

But Zita and I got up very early this morning. I do not know why.

So after we went into the living room and looked out the watching window I went back to fast asleep. Ha. 

Then I woke all up because Niamh and Emmet were awake too. My goodness.

And even Craig was all awake too. But he was still in the comfy bed.

Because he had to watch the little cars go as fast as could be. Oh well.

 Zita and I had a nice relax. Right in the living room. Together.

Then it was time for Zita and Niamh to go to the too much of everything store. 

That is where we find the very tasty just for pastas cheese. 

It is from Italy. Just like Mister Tom’s motorcycle. Ha.

I stayed here so I could mind Emmet while he read his new book. 

And look out the window. In case the silly bunny rabbit came back. 

There was a nasty coyote in our neighbourhood. On Doctor Susan’s street. My goodness me. 

Sometimes coyotes gobble up cats or silly bunny rabbits and even very little dogs. Oh my goodness me.

That coyote better not come to my house. 

Because it is my house and I guard it. All the time. 

And I am a very fierce guarder. 

And I am not even a bit little. It is known.

And there are two giant very fierce dogs from Italy who live just around my corner. Ha. 

Even the little one is bigger than I am. They are not so furry as I am. 

But they are bigger than even my big cousin Mati. Oh goodness me. 

And my friend Emmet has swords. 

Old very pointy swords from way far away places. Right in his very comfy bedroom. Ha. 

So that coyote should not come on my street. It is known.

But there are no big guarder dogs on Susan’s street. Too bad for them. 

When Zita and Niamh got back home they had a box of giant croissants. 

They were so big I had to help Craig eat his. Ha. I am always a big help.

I did not stay in my side yard so much today.

Because it is a too hot day. 

So we stayed inside and the machine made our hose not even a bit too hot. Ha. That is a good machine. 

But Niamh went for a bicycle ride. It was only a very little ride. 

Because she nearly just melted all away. 

Because it was way too hot and windy. And even the wind is too hot too. That is very silly weather. 

So she had to lie down on the cool stones on the kitchen floor until she was cool again. 

I stayed there to keep her company. 

So I was too busy with my friend Niamh to help Craig get all dressed with his brand new pants. Too bad for him

Then Niamh went in the living room. 

So she and Zita could make pictures of our very new garden. That was a good idea.

But Niamh had Craig’s pretend to be a cowboy hat on. Oh dear me. 

We do not have room for any smelly cows. Oh dear.

I just stayed on the cool kitchen floor. Ha. 

This afternoon when Craig and I had our together lovely nap in the big bedroom Zita made a very delicious cake. Just for all of us.

Because last night Emmet and Niamh gobbled up all the cheesefull cake. 

So we did not have even one bit left.

But now we have a brand new cake.

Maybe we will have some for our dessert tonight. Maybe.

Because we had our breakfast for our dinnertime tonight.

We had pretend from France pancakes. And lots of our tasty as ever could be bacon.

But I could only have a little bit of bacon. 

Because I nearly had a sick tummy. 

Because I drank all my cold water way too fast. Oh dear. Too bad for me. 

I always get a sick tummy if I drink very cold things. Or even lovely crunchy ice cubes. Too bad for me. 

Zita went outside to dig up some more bushes. 

Even in the way too hot. 

I do not know why she did that. Oh well. Maybe she will melt. Oh dear me. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Nine

It was not such a nice day today. 

It was just a lots of windy rain. 

So Zita and the black car too Niamh to the beautiful clothes store. So she would not be all soggy. 

When Zita came home we looked out the window for a while. But we had to be very quiet.

Because Emmet was reading his very interesting Mister Cernach story to lots and lots of way far away people. Oh dear.

So I went into the big bedroom and got up on the bed.

Right beside Craig. To keep him company and be very quiet too. Ha. 

That not so hard when you are fast asleep on a very comfy bed. Ha. Good for me.

Then Craig got up so he could have his coffees with his old friends on his computer.

I stayed in the bedroom too.

Because Zita was talking to her mother and father in way far away Dublin. 

And making the house all spic and span at the same time. 

Mister Tom told us that got his fast as can be motorcycle out of his garage. 

And all ready for the summertime. Ha.

He sent us a picture of it. 

It even has it’s own name. It is Mister Caesare. That is an Italian name. 

Because his motorcycle is from way far away Italy. Ha. 

Last night before dinnertime I had to mind Niamh and Miss Tarryn.

Because they were too tired to sit up after all their busy downtown work.

That is not a hard job. 

They did not even move until we had our inside picnic. Ha. Good for me. 

After Emmet and his friends were all finished their important far away in Scotland meeting he came upstairs.

So he could look out the window and have a nice relaxing time. I went into the living room to mind him. 

But then the silly bunny rabbit came right on my own patio. 

And just sat there. On my patio. That is not so very polite.

So then I had to bark it away. 

And I was barking so loudly I got in to a bit of trouble. Oh well. Oh well. Too bad for me. Ha. 

So then Craig got into his go fast chair so he could help me look out my watching window. 

And scare the silly bunny rabbit away. Ha. That was a good idea.

Then Zita went downtown to find Niamh before it was a windy rain again. 

I waited with Craig. And had a very nice nap.

Because my friend Craig was there to scare away the silly bunny rabbit. Ha. Good for us. 

We had own made tasty roll up from far away Mexico. Full up with chicken too. Ha. That was a good dinner.

And I had bagel cheese on my dinner. Ha. 

And a tasty piece of chicken for my dessert.

Then we went to watch some detectives in the big bedroom. On the comfy bed. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Eight

We had a very busy day today. Even all of us. My goodness me.

Very early this morning Zita went to the downtown rascal ladies office. To look at some things. 

And Niamh and her fast bicycle went to her beautiful clothes store.

The old fast bicycle was only a very little bit broken. So she could fix it all by herself. Ha was good.

Last night after our delicious hot dogs dinner Niamh cut Emmet’s hair. And even his beard too. 

To make him all neat and tidy again. 

They went out to our patio so my side yard would not be way too messy. 

Niamh is a very good hair cutter. She and Zita got me all ready for the too hot summer. 

Because our make me beautiful store was still all closed.

This morning as soon as Zita got home a nice lady came to visit Craig. So we could try a new take it off cast. 

But it was too small. So the lady is going to find us a bigger one. Oh dear. Too bad for Craig.

And right after the lady left Mister Mason and some friends came to put our brand new tree in the ground.

In just the perfect place. 

They had a very very big truck. 

And they had to dig a very big hole. All by themselves. With shovels. Oh dear. 

I watched them. But I could not be a big help. I cannot use a shovel so very well. 

So I went in the bedroom to mind Craig and help him with his peanut butter and honey sandwich instead.

My friend Emmet is going to an important meeting tomorrow. 

In way far away Scotland. Right on his very own computer. In his very comfy bedroom. 

But it is very early in the morning. 

Because of the wrong clocks in way far away. 

He is going to tell everybody all about the very interesting stories he found. 

The ones all about his very very old friend Mister Conall Cernach. That will be very interesting I think. 

That is way Niamh made him all neat and tidy again. 

So he would not look like he did not have his very own lovely sister to take care of him. Ha. That was a good idea. 

He is going to wear his special clothes from Niamh’s beautiful clothes store. Not his wear all the time T-shirts. Ha. 

When her work was all over Zita and Niamh and go fast car found Miss Tarryn. 

So she could have a tasty dinner with us.

But not Emmet.

Because he has to play his dragons game tonight. With all his from here friends. 

They have been play that game for lots of years. The very same game. And it is not even finished one time. My goodness. 

We had pizzas for our together dinner. And little little roll ups. Ha. 

And Niamh and Miss Tarryn and I had a cheese picnic. Right in the living room. Ha.

Because it was not so nice for an outside picnic tonight. Oh well. 

Craig and Zita had their dinner in the big bedroom. And it was just them.

Because I was way too busy helping with the picnic. 

Craig did not get in his go fast chair today. 

After the nice lady left he did not put on the big not very comfortable cast. 

He just gave his broken leg a nice all day long rest. 

It got broken in two places. Oh my goodness. I did not know that. 

So that is why he has to keep that way too big cast on for a long time. Oh dear me. 

Craig did not watch the hockey game last night.

Because it was too scary. But his team won anyway. Ha. That was a good surprise.

Now they have to play somebody’s else’s team. Oh goodness me. So much hockey. Oh well. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Seven

Last night when Craig and Zita and I were fast asleep. My friend Niamh called us. On the telephone.

Because her very fast old bicycle broke. Right in the middle of the street. Oh my goodness.

So the go fast car took Zita to that street right away. And fast too. Ha.

And they put the poor bicycle in the trunk. 

So Zita and the go fast car brought Niamh and her bicycle home all safe. That was good.

Then everybody went to sleep again. 

When we got up this morning it was a very beautiful morning. All over. Ha.

Zita and I had our together breakfast.

Niamh was all awake too. 

Because she had another early in the morning meeting for her beautiful clothes store.  Oh dear. 

Niamh has too much home work for her store. That is not all right. 

Zita was going to have a very long meeting today. But then she did not. Ha. She was very happy.

But I did not stay in the rascal ladies office so much this morning.

Because I was way too busy minding my friends Emmet and Niamh in the living room. 

I have to be their very best minder because they just sit there with there do not hear anything  headphones on top of their ears.

If I am not the very best minder maybe something might sneak up behind them and catch them. Oh my goodness. 

And nobody would even know that they were caught. 

So that is why I have to be their fierce minder. It is my best job. 

Niamh was looking for some very interesting classes at her nice university. On her new computer. 

Because when summertime is all over it will be time for Niamh to go back to her own nice university. 

And Emmet will go back to his way far in Ireland university to finish his giant story. Oh dear. 

Then my own family will not be altogether. Again. I do not like that. It is known. 

I had to go into the big bedroom and bark loudly. 

To remind Craig that is was time to get in the go fast chair and help me look out my watching window.

And maybe find some special tasty treats for my dinnertime. Ha. That was my own good idea.

When we looked out my watching window Zita was there. 

Making our garden even more beautiful. 

And she moved some bushes into brand new holes she made with only the very little shovel. 

Because she did not ask me to be her digging helper she had to get the very big shovel instead. Ha. Too bad for her.

Tonight it was Niamh’s turn to make our tasty dinner.

So she went and got especially delicious special hot dogs. Ha.

And Cokes inside glass bottles. From way far away Mexico. Those are very delicious cokes. 

Emmet and Niamh told me. So it is just true.

I had bagel cheese on my dinner tonight. Craig found it for me.

Craig had pants on today. Real pants not just a blanket from the hospital. Ha.

They are big leg pants from Mister Bean’s store. 

They can go right over the not very comfortable take it off cast. Ha. That is good.

Before dinnertime Niamh and Miss Tarryn sat in the side garden and I minded them. 

It was not so hot outside this afternoon.

Because of all the all over clouds. 

Just flat everywhere clouds. Not even nice sheep clouds. Oh well. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Six

It was a beautiful day outside today.

And it was our do not go to work Wednesday too. Ha.

So Zita and I had a nice very short to the corner walk. 

Even before we had our together breakfast. 

We were the only ones all awake. Ha.

Then I minded her and she talked to Auntie Eileen. In way far away.

Then Niamh and emmet were all awake to.

But Craig was all awake but he did not get up right away.

Because he had to listen to his very interesting book. 

Then Zita and Niamh went out to the other side yard to look at our beautiful full of flowers garden.

I sat in the other side yard for a long time. But that was not so interesting. 

So I decided that I should go and mind them by myself.. That was not so hard to do.

Because the big gate was not so very closed. 

So I went right around the corner of my house and right across my patio until I found them.

They were talking to another lady.

They were very surprised to see me. Ha. That was a good surprise. 

But then Zita said I had to go back inside so I could mind the boys. Oh well. 

Zita talked to Kathy today. She was in her no noise at all car. 

She visited her mother and was going back to the beautiful cottage. 

And Mister Richard put the dive off the dock back in the water 

Now everybody can run all the way down from the cottage and make giant splashes when they jump in the lake. Ha. 

Miss Tara finished her university today. In Toronto. 

Zita saw her on her computer. Ha. That is good. 

But the picture was not so good. Oh dear me.

Now she has her beautiful important piece of paper too. That is good.

Because now she know everything about those far away places where nobody likes each other. Oh dear me.

I am glad they are very far away. 

My friend Emmet has lots of those pieces of paper. 

But they are not so big as his lots of important fat books. I do not know why. Oh well. 

And tonight Richard and Kathy are going to take her to a very delicious restaurant. To celebrate. 

They will have lots of delicious cheeses. And table sheets too. 

Delicious restaurants always have lots and lots of from far away cheeses. And alway very clean table sheets. 

That is why they are delicious restaurants. It is the rule. 

Tonight is Emmet’s turn to make our tasty dinner. So we are having Irish chicken.

Because that is Emmet’s very favourite dinner. Mine too. 

But Niamh cannot have her dinner with us.

Because she has a too long meeting on her computer. For her beautiful clothes store. 

Right at our dinnertime. That is not all right. 

Before dinnertime Zita took away lots and lots of our too many bushes.

So when the digging machine comes here our brand new tree can have its very own space. Just for it. Ha. 

Now our patio is very neat and tidy. That is good. 

Maybe we will watch some detectives tonight. 

Or maybe go to our comfy bed early. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Five

Zita and I went for a very little nice walk this morning.

But just to the other park. At the end of my street.

It is not even a bit warm today. Zita wore her fuzzy jacket. 

So she would be toasty warm.

After we came home for our together breakfast it was time to go to our rascal ladies office. 

I had a little beside her nap. When she was busy talking to all the rascal ladies. 

Craig had a big sleep in today. I do not know why.

After our meeting Zita and the black car went downtown to bring Niamh to her beautiful clothes store.

When she got back I was already in the living room minding my friend Emmet. 

When Craig was all awake he was so sleepy I had to help him eat his tasty round toasts.  

He told me that I am always his very best helper. That is true. 

After lunchtime Mister Mason called our house. 

And then he brought our nearly very big tree right to our front yard. 

And in a little while his digging machine is going to make a very big hole.

Just right for the brand new tree. Ha. That is a good idea. 

The present man brought Emmet brand new books. All about soldiers in long time ago Ireland.

But they were not such interesting books because they had no pictures at all. Oh well. 

They are just for reading books. For his giant story. 

Then there were lots of young ladies in very beautiful dresses. Right in our pond park.

Because their school is all finished for the summertime. 

So they had a beautiful dresses party. Ha. That was a good idea. 

And it was not even a bit rainy this afternoon.

We had the special stuffed with tasty treats little pastas for our dinnertime tonight. 

And I got the special for bagels cheese on my own dinner. Ha. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Five

We had a nice quiet day today.

Zita and I went to doctor Susan’s to get some milk for Zita’s good morning coffee. 

But I cannot go on any long nice walks. 

Because my doctor said I was to take it very easy. 

Craig’s doctor told his the same thing. Ha. Good for us.

It was our go to work Monday so I helped Zita but then we had very very loud rain.

So I got up onto the big bed so Craig would not be too scared. 

But then it stopped so I went in to the living room to mind Emmet and Niamh.

Niamh is still a bit too tired today. Because of the shot. Oh dear.

Then they call their grandfather in way far away Dublin. To say happy grandfather’s day day. 

And they talked to their Nana too. 

It was not such a very nice day today. 

Because it was hot and rainy. All at the very same time. Oh my.

So everybody had a very quiet day.

Craig got up late so he could have our dinnertime right in the dining room. 

I did not help him look out the window because I was too busy helping Zita make our dinner. Too bad for him.

And Emmet even had some cake before our dinnertime. Oh dear me.

I did not get any cake. 

Because of my new diet. Too bad for me. 

Even at dinnertime Niamh is still a bit was too tired. Because of the do not get sick shot.

So she had a nice quiet day today. 

Sometimes it is very nice to just have a do not do so very much day. It is known.

We did not watch anything very interesting last night.

Just the hockey game. And Craig’s team lost. Oh dear. Too bad for him.

He said the game was not so very fair for his team. Oh well. 

After dinnertime Craig and Zita and I had dessert. 

Because Craig was still in his go fast chair.

They had sticky full up with pecans pie. With lots of ice cream on top. 

And some coffee too. 

I did not have any. 

Because of the a bit too chubby me. Too bad for me.  

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Four

Today was sleep in Sunday and everybody had a sleep in.

Craig and Niamh had big sleep ins.

I got up on the big bed to keep Craig company. 

Then I had to go and mind Emmet. I was very busy today.

Niamh was a bit sick last night.

Because of the do not get sick shot. Just like Craig and Zita. 

And today she is just way too tired too. Just like Craig and Zita. Oh my goodness me. 

So she had a lovely rest right on the comfy sofa in the living room. 

And Emmet was reading interesting stories right in his favourite comfy chair in the living room. 

So I minded both of them. At the same time. I am a very good minder dog. 

Today is the especially for everybody’s Father’s Day. Oh goodness. 

And it is the very first day of our summertime too. Ha. That is a good day. 

But Zita says we are going to have our special just for fathers day tomorrow. 

Because then everybody will be all better again. That is a good idea. 

But for our dinnertime Zita is going to make Craig’s favourite cooked outside hamburgers anyway. That was a good idea. 

When you eat lots of hamburgers you will get all better right away.

Because hamburgers are very delicious. 

Sometimes I get some hamburgers too. Ha. That is a tasty treat. 

Maybe we will have ice cream too. Maybe. 

It is a very beautiful full of sunshine day today.

It was only just a bit too hot. 

And after lunchtime Zita went outside to move some of our brand new plants around. 

To make our garden as beautiful as could be. 

But Niamh could not help today because she was too tired to get off the sofa. 

Because of the do not get sick shot. 

Sometimes she was just fast asleep. Me too. Ha. 

And when Zita went to the grocery store I minded everybody all by myself. 

I had a very busy day. It is known. 

When Craig got into his fast chair Niamh and Miss Tarryn were in the living room. 

With a giant bag of popcorns.

So Craig and I had to help them eat some. Good for us. 

Then we looked out my watching window. 

Because that is what Craig and I always do. 

We did it even when I was so little I had to stand right up to see outside. Ha. Good for us. 

But I could not stay so long looking out my watching.

Because I had to help Zita make Craig’s especially delicious dinner. That is my best job. 

We even had our dinnertime at the dining room table. 

Because Craig said you have eat at the dining room table when it is a special day. It is our rule. Ha.

But I don’t get so many treats when we eat in the dining room. Too bad for me. 

After dinner Craig got secret presents too. Lots and lots of tasty treats. Ha.

Then everybody sat in the living room and talked all about their favourite comfy sofa. I do not know why. Oh well.

Then Zita went to give the plants lots of water. 

Because it was very hot today. 

She saw me. Ha.

And Emmet went for his after dinner long walk around. 

And Craig got me my own dinner. But I only got a very little cheese on top today.

Because of me being a bit too chubby. Oh dear me. That was not so good. 

Then Craig went back to the big comfy bed. 

Maybe we will watch some detectives tonight.

Or maybe we will go to bed early again. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Three

We had a beautiful day outside today.

But we did not get up so early today.

Because last night both Craig and Zita were a bit sick.

Because of their do not get sick shots. That is silly. 

But now they are just perfect again. That is good.

Niamh went to get her shot today. Outside. On the nice doctor’s street. 

With lots and lots of of other people too. My goodness.

Our own tent was there too. Ha.

Zita drove her there. And when she was all finished she drove Niamh back home. 

Today Zita went outside lots and lots of times. 

So she could take pictures of our beautiful garden. 

And where the sunshine went all day long. Ha. 

When Craig got into the go fast chair we looked at everything out our window. 

But Emmet and Niamh were not here. 

Because Niamh went to see Cara and Lee. To show everybody her shot arm. 

And Emmet walked way down the busy street. To Mister Horton’s store to get a bagel. 

When he was going to our nice university he used to go to Mister Horton’s other store. 

The one right inside the university.

To get his before class donuts. And his tea too. 

And this morning he went to Mister Kettleman’s to get a bagel too. 

They are different kinds of bagels. I do not know why. Oh well. 

Bagels are Emmet’s favourite. They do not have such delicious bagels in way far away Ireland. Oh well. 

When he got home he went into the den. To read some interesting stories. He is not writing anything today. 

Because it is his day off. 

And when Zita came in I minded Zita right in our living room. 

Craig got me my lunch but I only ate the cheese treats. Oh well. 

When everybody was all home Mister Tony’s friend brought us two pizzas. Ha. 

Pizzas are my favourite. Craig always gives me some crunchy bits. Ha.

But last night everybody said I was getting a bit chubby. Oh dear me. 

Zita said that my nice doctor Waller will say it is my family’s fault. 

Because of the too many treats. Oh goodness me. 

Zita said that Craig shares too many of his chips with me. Oh my goodness. 

That is not such a good thing to say. Oh dear me,

Maybe I will watch some detectives tonight with Craig and Zita. 

So I will not think about treats. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty One

Everybody got up very early this morning. Even Craig too.

I got up on the big bed two times to keep his company until he was wide wide awake. That is a good job for me.

And then the nice Doctor came to our house. 

To give Craig and Zita their last do not get sick and die shots. Ha. That was a good idea. 

She has a nice dog too. But not so big as I am. I see her when I am looking out my watching window. 

Tomorrow she is going to give lots and lots of people their shots. Right on her street. 

And Niamh is going there to get her shot there too. 

And the Doctor is going to borrow our take it with you tent. Ha. 

So people do not get cooked if it is too sunny outside. That was a good idea. 

After the doctor went to her own office Niamh was all awake too. 

So her old fast bicycle took her downtown to her work. 

It is only an all cloudy all the time day. But sometimes it was all rainy. 

After Craig had his shot he had a nice nap. 

But I came in lots of times to tell him what I saw out the window. Ha.

This morning Emmet was talking to professor John in far away England. All about Emmet’s giant story.

But professor John is going to take a tent to stay in an all fallen down church. With his family too. For a vacation. 

In an all empty as can be town. And it has been empty for a very very very long time. Oh dear me.

Maybe there are ghosts there. Oh my goodness. 

I do not know if they have a nice dog to chase away any ghosts.

Dogs are not even a bit scared of ghosts. Ha. Good for us. 

When Emmet and his professor were all finished talking Emmet said he was all finished writing until Monday. Ha. 

So then he had a very relaxing day and I minded him. 

When Zita went out to do some rascal ladies errands I minded Craig and Emmet all by myself. 

Craig did not get into his go fast chair today. 

Because his tummy was not all right. So he just stayed in the comfy bed. 

When Niamh came home she was as soggy as could be again. Oh dear. Too bad for her.

We had toasted outside sausages for our altogether dinner tonight. Sausages are my favourite too. Ha. 

But Craig only wanted to have some soup. Too bad for him. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty

It was a beautiful as could be morning today.

I had my breakfast with Zita before she went to our rascal ladies office.

And I went and had a very nice beside Craig nap. So I could mind him while he was asleep. 

Niamh was all awake early too. Because of her all the time meetings on her computer. 

After our breakfast she went outside to look at how our very beautiful garden was. Ha.

Last night Zita and Niamh put lots of plants in the ground right in the very dark. 

But the plants are not very big. So tigers cannot hide in them. That is good. 

And we still have lots and lots of brand new plants to put in too. Ha. Good for us. 

Then her old very fast bicycle took her downtown to her beautiful clothes store. 

I went out into my side yard to say bye bye. That is a very hard job for dogs like me. Oh dear.

But her good bicycle will bring her home even before our dinnertime. That is a very good idea 

Then I was all fast awake so I went into our office to be Zita’s very best assistant. 

That is not such a very hard job. 

Because I have had lots of practice. 

After Zita went for her lunchtime run all around in the beautiful sunshine Craig got into his go fast chair.

And right away he got me my tasty lunch. With some very delicious cheese on top too. Ha.

Then we looked out my watching window at my friends the ducks. 

Last night all the men with their little go by themselves boats were playing in our pond park. 

And they put their little island right in the middle. 

Today lots of ducks are on it. Have their own afternoon naps. 

So Emmet went for his afternoon walk so he could see them too. 

And then sit under his very favourite tee and have an afternoon outside rest. That was a good idea. 

I had a very nice relaxing time minding Craig on the comfy living room rug. Nearly all afternoon. Ha. 

Zita was very busy talking to lots of rascal ladies. So I was very quiet.

It is not even a bit hard to be very quiet when you are fast asleep. Ha. 

I did not even wake up when my friend Emmet came home. Ha. 

That was a very good nap. 

When Zita was all finished her rascal ladies work she came to the living room.

And she had a coffee and Craig had a giant donut. Then I woke up. 

So I could have some donut too. But I only got a very little bit. Oh well. 

Then we looked out the watching window until my friend Niamh was home.

And when she got here she was nearly just a melted puddle. Oh dear. 

So she had a get cool all over shower.

Then Craig went to have squeaky clean hair. 

Before he got back into the big comfy bed. 

We did not have an altogether dinner tonight.

Because it was Emmet’s night to play his dragons game.

And Niamh and Miss Tarryn went to buy a delicious picnic dinner. Up on the busy street. 

So I only had Craig and Zita to mind for dinnertime. That was an easy job. 

Maybe we will watch some new detectives tonight. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Forty Nine

Today was our do not go to work day. 

But we got up early anyway. 

Because we went to visit my nice Doctor Waller at my little for nice dogs hospital.

He said that I was just fine as could be. But I should not have lovely long walks.

Because my sore leg needed a little rest. So it will be just like brand new again. Oh well.

But I can have very little nice walks around my own street. Ha.

Doctor Waller brought me out to the black car. And he talked to Zita too. That was nice.

Then Zita and I went on a big adventure. Just us. By ourselves. Ha.

We went to a just for your beautiful garden store. To get more bags of special dirt for our brand new garden. Ha.

And I went too so I could be Zita’s very best helper.

Because I am a very polite dog. Ha. Good for me. 

Then Zita went to look at more beautiful flowers.

So she asked me to guard our very best dirt all by myself. That is a very important job. 

But I am the very best fierce guarder dog ever. Zita told me. So it is true. 

And when we got back home we put everything right on our patio. I helped too. 

And then I helped my friend Craig with his breakfast. 

We had croissants and some very tasty strawberries too. Good for us.

This morning Emmet was at a meeting on his computer. From far away Ireland. 

But it was a very silly meeting. 

The people talking were way too old. And they said silly things. Oh dear me. That was too bad.

Sometimes when people get way too old they forget that lots and lots of things change. 

But those people do not change. Oh dear. Too bad for them.

Craig’s mother always forgets that I am a lovely lady dog. 

Because she is very very old too. Oh well. Too bad for her. 

Just after lunchtime the go fast car took Zita and Niamh to their very favourite for beautiful garden store. 

It is only a bit far away. It is out where all the cows live. Sometimes cows are very smelly. Oh well. 

So this afternoon Craig and I watched everything all over right from my watching window. 

And I minded him and Emmet too. And I had a very nice nap right beside the very heavy black music machine. 

Because it is cosy warm all the time. I do not know why. 

But it is very nice to have a comfy nap just a bit beside it. 

Tonight it is Emmet’s turn to make us a delicious dinner. 

So he went up to the busy street to find everything he needed for our dinnertime. 

It is a beautiful full of sunny skies and sheep clouds day. 

Maybe he will go for his before dinner walk too. Maybe.

And then just like that the go fast car brought Zita and Niamh back home. With even more beautiful plants. 

Then Craig was just a bit sore.

So he went back to have a nice lay down before our dinnertime. But I did not have a nice beside him rest. 

Because I had to help my friend Emmet to make our own dinner. That is a good job for me. 

We had very fat sandwiches with cheese and lettuce and lots of onions. And chips too. 

Then everybody talked and I had a nap. 

But then Zita and Niamh went outside to put some of the brand new beautiful plants in the ground. 

Before it was all dark outside. 

But they stayed outside even when it was dark. So I had to mind them from my watching window. Oh dear. 

And Emmet went for his good evening all around walk. Oh well. 

Day Three Thousand Two Hundred and Forty Eight

We had a very busy night last night. 

Craig’s mother had to go to the hospital. In an ambulance. Oh dear me.

Then in the middle of the night a nice doctor called our house. 

Because Craig’s mother was not being such a good listener. So the go fast car took Zita to the hospital right away.

So she could tell her to take her medicine. She always listens to Zita. Ha.

And then Zita stayed there until the ambulance people took Craig’s mother back to her little apartment. 

So Zita did not get home until after our breakfast time. Oh dear me. 

And she had nearly no sleep at all. 

And then she she took Niamh to the beautiful clothes store. Oh my goodness. 

I stayed here to mind Craig and Emmet. 

When Zita got home she had only a very little nap. 

Craig and I had a very delicious brand new croissant for our breakfast. 

Because Zita found some just made right there croissants when she came back from the beautiful clothes store. 

Then I went to mind Zita in the living room. And I had a nice relaxing nap with her. That was good. 

We were very happy today. Because the very lost bear was found hiding way up in a tree. Oh my goodness. 

Maybe he was hiding from the scary thunder too. Maybe. 

But they gave him some go fast asleep medicine. 

And when he was all asleep some kind men put him in a special just for lost bears trailer.

And they drove him to his far way home. In a giant forest. 

And when he was all awake he was back home in his own forest.

With no people at all. Ha. That was a very good idea. 

Zita did not go to work today.

Because she did not get so much sleep last night. 

You cannot be such a good worker if you are nearly fast asleep. It is known. 

When Craig got in his go fast chair Zita went downtown to find Niamh.  

So Craig got me my very delicious lunch. And he put some just for pastas cheese on top. For my treat. 

I was afraid that he might have forgotten how to put the tasty treats on my food. But he remembered. That is good.

It was a very nice day this afternoon. It did not rain at all after lunchtime. 

And now all our beautiful plants and flowers are as happy as can be. And very green too. 

So Craig looked out the watching window and I minded him and Emmet. Right on the comfy rug. 

Emmet is still writing his story. 

It takes a very long time to write such a long brand new story for his very far away in Ireland university.

But sometimes he has to take a very nice rest.

So he can let all the extra words fall right out of his head. On to our floor. 

So the noisy clean the floor machine can take them all away.

And then he has lots of room for lots brand new ones. That is a good idea. 

It was Niamh’s turn to make everybody’s dinner. So she made pastas with an especially delicious sauce. 

And lots of green beans too. Green beans are my favourite too. 

I think we will go to fast asleep early tonight.

Because of the not much sleep night yesterday. Oh well.
