Day Six Hundred and Twenty Two

I had a nice day. Just a bit soggy day.

No noisy move the snow machines today. That is good.

Craig and I had our toasts early today.

Craig took Emmet to his university.  Today is the day Emmet argues with silly people. It makes him sad sometimes. They are not very good listeners Emmet says. They do not not read all the stories they are supposed to. Oh dear. Too bad for them.

Not everyone at university wants to learn new things Emmet says. Too bad for them. Ha. They will not get to go to new universities in way far away. And learn all about the way old Gods. And nice old kings with lots of cows. And red hands. It is known.

Zita is giving another big talk at her old university tonight. I helped her write her talk so she can remember it all by herself. I was a big help.

Zita said I am going to go to the make me beautiful store sometime soon. I am too fury. When I am not so fury I am not so much of a soggy dog. That is good.

We went to the stores on the busy street. To buy things in a bag. We went to the store where nice dogs get treats. I got a treat. Ha.

I like going to the stores. I am always a big help. I just sit and I never bark. Then I get treats. That is good.

Niamh's new bed is very beautiful. And comfy. I had a nice little nap on it this morning.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty One

Craig was wrong.  Again. Winter did not go away. More way too much snow last night. Too bad for him. Craig is afraid of too much snow.

Yesterday he had to take the red go fast chair all apart. It was making squeaky noises because of the too much snow. He was very dirty. Ha.

Jamie and I went for a walk. I got too much snow in my feet I had to come home.  I stayed in my yard to help Zita push all the snow far away.

I had to have a bath. Too much icy snow on my feet. It would not melt off me. Oh dear.

I did not have my breakfast until way late. Oh well. Craig and I had our toasts before my breakfast. Ha.

We put Niamh's brand new bed together last night. It is empty. Oh dear. She had to sleep on the floor again. Oh dear.

Uncle Bill is brought his big truck to be a big help and bring the insides of the bed to Niamh. That is good. It is a beautiful bed. It is all white. It is big enough for me too. That is good.

Niamh does not have a beautiful stripy red duvet. I do. Ha

We put all in insides on the bed. It is very high. Not too high for me.

Emmet and Zita and Uncle Bill had Irish tea. Craig had coffee because he is not Irish. Craig is a pretend Scotsman.  Ha. Everybody had sandwiches. Not me. Oh well. Too bad for me.

There were a lot of the noisy nasty take the snow off the sidewalk machines on my street. I hate those machines. They do not care. Too bad for me. Oh well.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty

I am not having a very good day.

Very early in the morning we took Niamh to the make me beautiful store and I barked way too much.

We went for a long walk with my friend Jamie. When we went to the nice garden and I did not listen very well. Zita said I was not a good listener at all. I had to go home. Oh dear.

I lost my Red Ball down the scary basement stairs. No one would get it for me. I was in trouble. Oh well.

I stayed on my comfy bed in the kitchen all morning. It is hard being a dog.

The big black tube is still in my side yard. I hate the big black tube. It makes scary noises.

We are having a little cheese party tonight. Maybe I will not be invited. Because I was a not very good listener. Oh dear.

Niamh and Zita went to the not too much money breakfast store to look for a new bed. They do not make the nice bed she wanted any more. Oh dear. Maybe Niamh will have to sleep on the floor for ever.  If she gets too cold she can share my comfy bed. It is known.

I got green bean treats for lunch. Zita forgot about the not very good listening. That is good.

Craig told me that winter is over. He is wrong. My nice patio is full of snow. You only have snow in winter. Too bad for him. Ha.

Day Six Hundred and Nineteen

Today is a way too early in the morning day. It is a very wet day. We had toasts. Before everything. Ha.

Craig drove Emmet and Niamh this morning. It is raining. No snow today. Just wet rain.

When Craig was away Zita and I went for a wet walk. We met my friend Jamie. In the rain. That is nice.

When Craig got home we had more toasts. Two toasts today. Ha.

We did not have croissants. Emmet ate them all. Oh well. Too bad for me.

It was not a busy day today. Just a nice resty day.

We had to get the big tubs to catch the too much rain. From the roof. The ground is still all frozen. Oh dear.

And the big black tube is in my side yard again. I do not like it at all.

Zita and Niamh are going out for dinner. At a special nice restraurent. No too many chips at this restraurent Zita said. Niamh and Zita are going to a beautiful toe dance. At the very big theatre where the special nice restraurent is. It is a treat for them. That is good. I like treats.

Craig and Emmet will have a make it your self pizza for dinner. I will guard them. Maybe I will find an extra piece.

Thursday, 27 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Eighteen.

Craig drove Niamh to her school today. Niamh has a big big test today. Oh dear.

I do not like tests. I did not have very good tests when I went to my school when I was way little. They were silly tests. Too bad for them. Zita and Craig did not care. Ha.

Zita and I had a nice walk. I waited for Craig to come home. Outside. On my corner.

When Craig came home we had our toasts. That is good.

Zita has to make a long long speech tonight at Mr. Saint Paul's University. We practiced it in the den.  A lot. I can get on the sofa in the den. It is very comfy. But I get way too hot. Then I sleep on the nice soft rug from way far way. I was a big help. That is good.

Zita went to the nice food store. She came home with cheese and croissants. We will have croissants for toasts tomorrow. That is good. I like croissants. With French jam. Ha.

Niamh is going out for dinner to night. With her dance friends. To eat food nobody cooked. Oh dear. She should eat Mr. Tony's pizza. He allways cooks it. It is known. I get little pieces sometimes. Not all the time. Oh well.

Everybody went to another pizza store last night for dinner.  Where Craig used to go when he was not so way old. I will not tell Mr. Tony. He would be sad. Oh dear.

Only me and Craig and Emmet will have dinner here tonight. Oh well. They will have cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. Ha.

Craig's television program all about Vikings is on tonight. It is very scary. I do not think I would like to Vikings on my street. It is known.

Wednesday, 26 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Seventeen

I had a nice quiet day. We had a long walk in the cold. I am tired of the way too cold.

When we came home we had toasts. Craig and Zita had coffee. Dogs do not drink coffee. Or Irish tea. Oh well.

I helped Zita with her important papers for her new university. All morning. My friend Casey is next door today. Casey is a mountain dog. He is very big. He sleeps in the snow. I do not sleep in the snow. I sleep on my comfy new duvet. Ha.

Everybody is going out for dinner tonight. I am not going. I am staying here to guard the house. I will get treats. Because I am a good guard dog. Everybody says so. Ha.

My basement is empty. No more chairs everywhere. No boxes and boxes. No lots of rugs or little tables. More room for me. Ha.

Niamh has to sleep on the floor. Gramma took back her big comfy bed. Oh dear. Too bad for her.

It is easy to jump on her bed. Too bad for her. Ha.

Emmet is taking more classes in the summer. All about old old peoples and more way old forgotten Gods. Emmet remembers them. He does not forget them. That is good. I would not forget Saint Newton. It is known.

Emmet likes to go to his university. A lot. It is known. They have donuts at his university. And comfy chairs. That is good.

Emmet has to get a new bookcase. Gramma took his old one. All the so so many books are back on the floor just like before. Oh well.

Tuesday, 25 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Sixteen

I had another very busy day.  I had a nice walk with my friend Jamie. That is good.

I had two toasts today. After my walk. Ha

The big truck came to get all the chairs from the basement. And the rugs.  And the nice chair in the living room.  And poor Niamh's big comfy bed. They took them all away. To Craig's mother's new rooms. I did not bark way too much. Only a bit.

Now Niamh has to sleep on the floor. Oh dear.

Then Craig and Paul had to go over to put everything back together in the new rooms.

Craig's sister was there.  With her dog. Her dog is named Sunny. Craig said Sunny is a very quiet and shy dog. He did not bark at all. He had a long nap in the corner. Behind a chair.

Sunny is a not so big as me dog. He is a Scotsman dog. From the little islands. Not like Uncle Bill's island. There do not have giant sharks in the little islands. Just rocks. And Scotsmen. And porridge. Ha.

I stayed here to help Zita with her big, very big paper for Mr. Saint Paul's University. On my new red stripy duvet. And guard the house. And Emmet.

Niamh's dance a lot friend got out of the hospital. That is good. She did not like the hospital either.

She came to my house this afternoon. That is good. She and Niamh went downtown shopping. To buy the same clothes. Ha. Silly people.

Niamh is going to get a brand new bed. Big enough for me too. She told me so. Ha.

Craig's hockey team won last night. I did not care. I was having a nice nap.

Monday, 24 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Fifteen

I had a busy day. I had a long long walk. We went down my favourite streets. It is still so cold my nose gets all frosty. Oh well

Zita went to my Dr. Smith's to get my good for my tummy food. That is good.

Tomorrow Craig's mother is moving to another room. She is taking all the chairs and tables she left in our basement. Nice people are coming with a big truck to take them away. I cannot bark at them Zita said. Oh dear.

We cleaned the whole house all up. I was a big help.

I got a new cosy duvet for the very big bed. It is red. That is good.

Two of the noisy little snow moving machines stopped on my corner and stayed there. I barked and barked. They did not care. Oh dear.

Craig's sister is coming to help move all the chairs. She is bringing her dog with her. I do not know her dog. Niamh says it is a nice dog. It is a shy dog. Not so big as me.

Zita and I went to our newspaper's office on our walk. I was was very good. I just pretended I was a stature of a very nice and quiet dog. We did not stay so long. They do not have any treats for nice dogs. Oh well.

Sunday, 23 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Fourteen

It is cold again today. Silly weather. I had a nice walk. It is not a soggy dog day. That is good.

Zita went to see Mr Saint Paul's again. All day. I had a nice nap.

Craig is a pretend Scotsman again. He had porridge for his breakfast. No toasts. Too bad for me. Oh well.

Emmet is writing all about how an old war started because people wanted to believe nasty people would not be nasty. People are silly.

Dogs know if you are a nasty person we will bark at you. Until you go away. We would not write nice letters to them. That is why dogs are way better at guarding than people. It is known.

Niamh and her dance a lot friends went to Emmet's university to go swimming. In the way too cold. They will be ladycicles. Ha.

We played throw the Red Ball a lot today. There is no too much snow in the side yard. That is good. Craig is not afraid of the empty yard. Ha.

Last night I got frozen peas as a treat. I love frozen peas. It is known. We are having green beans for dinner tonight. Ha. It is a good night.

Saturday, 22 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Thirteen

We have a nasty day outside. More way too much snow. Again. We only had a short walk. It is hard walking in the way too much snow.

Today Zita's has to go to her new university all day. And tomorrow too. In the way too much snow. Oh dear. I am in charge. Ha.

The cars are not stopping at my corner. Too much snow. They will have a crash. And fall into my pond. Silly cars. They will be sad.

Craig did not go to his breakfast today. Too much snow.

Niamh had to get up early to go to the make me beautiful store. It was not the right day. Oh dear. Craig told her the wrong day. Oh dear. Silly Craig.

Poor Niamh had to go to the expensive coffee store and have nice cookies for breakfast. I could not go. Oh well.

Craig will not go out to play throw my Red a Ball. He is afraid of the too much snow. Too bad for me. Oh well. I had a nice nap.

Niamh and Emily and Cara took all the snow away from my side yard. So I can play throw the Red Ball. That is good. And from the driveway so the poor cars will not get stuck in the way too much snow.

Niamh and Cara and Emily and I had a snow ball fight. I won. Ha. I had to stay in the kitchen until I was all dry. Oh well.

There were a lot of the noisy move the snow machines on my street. They are very scary. They take the snow all away. I do not know where they put it. Maybe way far away Ireland. They do not have snow.

I have a lots and lots of snow on my front yard and on my favourite patio. Where my flowers live. They might try to take it all away. And my house too. I bark at them. They do not care. Too bad for me.

Zita and Craig say I bark too much at the noisy machines. They would be sad if the noisy machines took away our house. It would be my fault. Too bad for me.

It is hard being a dog.

Friday, 21 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Twelve

We had a nice quick walk this morning. I helped move the cars. Twice. I was a big help.

When everybody left I was in charge of guarding the house. By myself. Ha.

It is still very wet outside. I am a soggy dog.

Uncle Bill came over to drink his Irish tea. He was far away for a long time. He said I was a lot more fury. That is true.

He was not eaten by the giant sharks. That is good.

He was not in the water with the sharks. He was in the kitchen. On the way far away island. With no way too much snow. They had a house with a very big kitchen. With a very big stove. Uncle Bill likes to cook. That is good. He makes own made sausages.

He is back home now. With his big truck. Ha.

Niamh has to take care of a nasty cat. They pay Niamh real money to take care of a cat. Ha. Silly cats.

Tonight Niamh is going to another house to take care of a little girl. For more real money.

Niamh needs real money. She is going to way far away Ireland again. In the summer. After dance a lot school is over. To visit her cousins. And watch the rain. Ireland is soggy. Emmet told me.

Ice cream is way expensive in way far away. Niamh has to have lots of money to buy ice creams for everybody. And more clothes. And silly shoes. Ha.

Emmet is not going to way far away this time. He has to learn all about more very old things. And way way old people. And old old Kings. At his university.

I will stay here and guard him. I am a good guard. I just bark too much sometimes. Oh well.

Thursday, 20 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Eleven

We had to get the big black tube out. To put the too much melting water on my street. I hate the big black tube.

It is a nasty day. Too wet. Too cold. I am a soggy dog again.

The move the snow machines came in the middle of the night. They startled me. I barked at them. And got in trouble. Oh well.

Craig drove Niamh to her school. She is feeling better. Just sore and tired.

Zita is at her Mr. Saint Paul's University tonight. Craig and Emmet and Niamh will have to make dinner. Ha. They have to have not-peanut-butter-sandwiches. Or I will tell Zita. I am in charge. Zita told me so.

I almost starved to death tonight. Oh dear. Oh dear.

When Craig brought Emmet home from his university he forgot to give me my dinner. I stared and stared at him. I sat right in front of him and did not move. He forgot. It is because he is old.

He remembered. Before I starved. That is good.

Uncle Bill is still hiding from the sharks. He is old too.

Wednesday, 19 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Ten

Another busy day. It is a way early day. Zita has to drive Niamh and Julia to the know everything about the scary forest class. It is way too early in the morning.

Emmet did not go to his way too early class all about the way way old kings. His tummy is still sick.

Craig and I looked out the watching window. For a long time. Then we put everything away in the kitchen. I was a big help.

Zita and I went for a very fast walk. I am a fast walker. Ha. Except when there is the way too much snow.

When came home we had our toasts. We did not look out the watching window. Zita has lots and lots to write for Mr. Saint Paul. I was very busy helping. On my comfy duvet.

Craig drove Emmet to the make me beautiful store. He is not so fury now. Ha.

Craig and Zita took the try me go fast chair back. Craig told the nice man how the new go fast chair should be made. It will be red. Ha. Just for me. Ha.

The newspaper said porridge is good for people. Craig is very happy. Silly Craig. Porridge is for the very big horses to eat. Ha. Craig still thinks he is a Scotsman. Scotsmen have to eat porridge.  It is known.

He should just eat croissants like me.

Emmet eats all the chocolate croissants in my house. I cannot not eat chocolate croissants. They would make me sick. Oh dear.  I just eat the pointy ends of nice croissants. With jam. Ha

Tuesday, 18 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Nine

I had to sleep on Niamh's bed last night. She has a sick tummy. It helps her feel better if I sleep on her bed. Everybody says so.

Craig drove Niamh only to a little bit of school. A famous dancer was visiting her toe dancing class. To teach them. Special dances.

Craig drove her home and she went back to bed. Oh dear.

Zita and I went for a long walk when Craig was away.  But no toasts today. Too bad for me.

Last night Niamh was in the try me go fast chair. That is not right. Things should be right. That is my job. Keeping things right. It is hard being a dog. In this house. Too many changes. Oh dear.

Craig drove Emmet to his university this afternoon. His tummy is sore too. Oh dear. I will have to sleep on his bed too. Emmet has nice comfy pillows on his bed. Ha.

Emmet and Niamh have the same sick tummy. I will have a busy night. It is known.

Craig has to have a bath tonight. Ha. Soggy Craig.

Zita said Emmet looks just like me. He has to go to the make me beautiful store tomorrow. He is way too fury. Ha.

Monday, 17 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Eight

Zita and I had a nice walk. In the way too cold. The was no flappy ears wind today.

We had little toasts today. Oh well.

Zita drove Niamh to school because of the too cold.

Niamh had to come home after lunch. She had a sick tummy this morning. It did not get better. Zita took the gold big car to get her at the dance a lot school. Then she went to sleep on her big comfy bed.

Emmet has a sore tummy too. He did not stay at his university all day. Oh dear.

I stayed here to guard Craig and Emmet. My tummy is fine. That is good.

It is Saint Patrick's Day. When people pretend to be Irish. I do not pretend. I am not Irish. Niamh told me I am from Flanders. In way far away France. Where they have lots and lots of very good croissants. That is why I like the pointy ends of croissants. And green beans. Because I am from France. It is known.

I cannot bark in French. A long time ago Emmet tried to teach me how to bark in Irish. It did not work. I can still only bark in dog. Oh well.

I asked Saint Newton to sing the happy birthday song to Saint Patrick for me. Saint Patrick was not Irish either.  Ha. He did not have a red little book. Like Zita and Emmet and Niamh.

People are silly. Ha.

Sunday, 16 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Seven

It is way too cold again today. Silly weather. Zita and I had a not way so long walk. We did not see anyone outside. Too cold Zita said. She is right.

We came home and had our toasts. That is good.

Niamh had a stay up way late watch scary movies night. At Cara and Emily's house. She came home and I chased her. Ha.

There were dogs on the television last night. I do not like that.  I think there are strange dogs in my house. But I cannot find them. I do not like that at all.

The computers at Emmet's university are broken. Emmet cannot read all his very interesting stories about way long ago. The old stories live on the broken computer. Emmet cannot get them to read. Oh dear. Oh dear. Now he cannot write his essay about the not so way long ago war. He will have to have a nice nap.

Craig threw my Red Ball. But not so much. It is too cold. Craig is afraid of the way too cold. It is known.

We did not have pancakes today. Everybody was too busy. We had muffins instead. It is Sunday. Sunday's are quiet days. Nice nap on my cosy duvet days.

Craig is in the den. He is reading another Scotsman book. The Scotsman still has his very big dog. And still lives on an island. He got married to a nice lady. She did not have a dog. Now she does. That is good.

I stay in the den with him so he will not be lonely. I can get up on the sofa in the den. Not in the living room. I can get up on the sofa in Emmet's room. It is a comfy sofa too. It is soft leather. Like his comfy chair.

Craig has his red go fast chair again. Not the try me chair. That is good.

Saturday, 15 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Six

It is a messy day. The snow is all melting. We have the big tubs out to catch all the too much water. I like to drink the water.  It is nice and cold. But I get my head all wet and have to stay in the kitchen until I get all dry. Oh well.

I had a nice walk. And played in the allways away people's garden. To get my feet all clean. Then I had a little bath.

Craig slept in. We did not have our toasts until way too late.  Oh well. We had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. I helped.

Niamh and Zita and Emily and Cara have gone off to the not so expensive breakfast store. To find a new bed for Niamh. And to have hot dogs. That is a silly name. It is a lie.  They are not dogs at all. People are silly. They believe lies. Dogs know the all everywhere truths. It is known.

I lost my Red Ball. We looked everywhere. Except under the bed. Craig cannot get under the bed. Oh dear. I know it is under the bed. Craig can not see it. He is old.

Craig went in the den to read his book. I sat and cried and cried. He looked again. And found it. Craig got the big grabber. And got my Red Ball. It was under the bed. Ha. I was right. We played throw the Red Ball.  That is good.

Craig fixed my scary kitchen gate. So it will not fall on me. That is good.

Zita and I decided not to go on a little walk. It is too all wet. I am tired of being a soggy dog. My kitchen bed is all comfy. And soft. Except where I chew it.  Oh well.

Zita was talking to her sister in Ireland this morning. It is nearly pretend to be Irish day. I am not Irish. Zita and Emmet and Niamh are Irish. Craig is a pretend Scotsman. That is why he has to eat porridge. Too bad for him. Ha

Friday, 14 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Five

It was not so cold today. We had a long walk. We did not see any of my friends. Oh well.

We had our toasts. After I had a little bath. Because of the salt that get in my toes. Then it hurts. Oh well.

Zita had to go to take the newspapers to the nice people who put them on everybody's door.

I was in the newspaper once. Craig wrote a letter for me. To thank the nice lady who leaves me treats on the old colonel's street. They are good treats. She puts them in a wooden box. So the nasty squirrels cannot steal them from me. Too bad for them. Ha.

Emmet had to come home early from his university. He has a sore face cold he said. He had a nap. Me too.

Today was Niamh's special dance party day. When all the students did all their dances for everybody to see.

Craig and I could not go. It is way up stairs in an old building. No dogs allowed. Oh dear. They did the dance that Niamh made up. All by herself. I did not help. No one asked. Oh well.

Today is pie day Emmet said. We did not have any pies today. We have nice meat pies at Christmas. It is not Christmas. There is no big shiny tree in my living room. And the present man did not come at all. Oh well.

I am going down to sleep on Emmet's bed to make him better. I am good at that. It is known.

Thursday, 13 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Four

It is way too cold today. We went for a walk. I had to come home early. My feet were too too cold. I had icicles on my face.

Craig laughed at me when I got home. That is not nice.

Craig made coffee and Zita made the toasts. We watched the wind blow the snow on my corner. I got little crunchy pieces of Craig's toasts. That is good.

Zita had to shovel the snow so she could take our newspapers to the nice stores. On my busy street.

I stayed here to guard the big pile of newspapers in my yard. It is hard to play throw the Red Ball when the newspapers are in my side yard.  Oh well.

The Red Ball does not bounce when it is way too cold. Too bad for me.

Emmet ate all the famous peach desert for his breakfast. Poor Niamh. She loves the famous peach desert. Too bad for her.

Last night we went and got Niamh from her dance friend's house. They went in the outside bathtub. In the way too much snow storm. With all the blow your ears all flappy wind. They are silly.

Craig is in the new try me go fast chair. It is better than the other one. He does not squish his fingers and yell with this try me chair. It is not red. Oh well. Maybe when they make his own go fast chair it will be red. That would be nice.

Zita has to go out to her new university tonight. Even in the way too cold. Oh dear. Maybe I will be in charge again. That is good.

Wednesday, 12 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Three

It is an early take Emmet to university day. We went for a long long walk after. Before the too much snow came.

Craig and Zita and I had our toasts when I got home. It is a windy day. My ears go all flappy on windy days. I like windy days. It is known. But with no too much snow.

The big truck with our new papers came today. I forgot and barked a bit. Oh well. They had to come to my house early. Because of the too much snow.

The way too much snow came after my nice nap. The radio man was right. I could not see my park out my watching window. Or even the other side of my corner. Oh dear. That is not nice. Too much snow.

We had to get Emmet at his university. He can not walk home in the too much snow. All the cars are going slow. That is good. Except for the ones that do not stop at my corner.

Zita and I are not going for a nice walk tonight. Zita might get lost and I would have to find our way home with my nose. I would have to way too cold nose. Oh dear.

Our friend Kirian is coming for dinner. His family went to the mountains to go down the hills fast. They did not take him. He did not want to go. We are going to feed him so he does not starve to death. That is good. If he does not forget.

Tuesday, 11 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and Two

It is nice today. We went for a walk in my nice park. I was a bit of a soggy dog.

Zita had to put the big black tube out. To put all the water in street . I do not like the big black tube.

Craig and Paul went and got a new go fast try it out chair. It is not red. Oh well. It is black. Not too shiny.

Everybody was very busy today.

Emmet got his new play with Sava and Chris computer box. He is very happy. He is still writing all about the way old gods. The ones Emmet remembers all about. That is good. We should not forget old things. Like Uncle Bill. Or Craig. They are very old. Niamh and Emmet are not old. I am not old. Ha.

Niamh's dance a lot friend is coming here tonight, for a stay up too late night. Niamh has to make up a dance for all her students. All by herself. For tomorrow. Oh dear. Maybe she will ask me to help. I am a good dancer. It is known.

The radio in the den told Craig there is more snow tomorrow. That is silly. We have way too much snow. When there is way too much snow Craig does not play throw the Red Ball. He is afraid of the snow. It is known. Too bad for me.

The move the snow noisy machines came on my street to day. I do not like them at all. They are scary. I bark at them. Then they go away. Ha.

Zita is nearly finished her almost a job at her old university. I helped her write all her very important reports. That is good.

Monday, 10 March 2014

Day Six Hundred and One

It is an all melty day. We are all soggy. Oh well. We went on our walk anyway.

Niamh is gone away all day teaching all her little people all about how to dance a lot. Not toe dancing. It is way too hard.

Emmet walked all the way to his university today. It is only soggy. Not way too cold. That is good.

Zita is writing for her new university all day. I am a big help.

Now Craig is a way long time ago Scotsman. On an island. Looking for a lost little boy. He has a very big dog. That is a good book. The dog will find the little boy. That is what dogs do best. Help.

Craig is reading two books. At the same time. Silly Craig. He will forget who he is. Some times he will be a Scotsman. With his very big dog. Or he will be a little girl in way far away England. With a bicycle. But no dog.

He should only read one book. Until he is finished. That is the right way. It is known.

Emmet says it is nearly the time when everybody wants to be Irish. Even when they are not. Emmet and Niamh and Zita have little red books that says they are Irish. With their pictures in them.

Craig does not. He only has a little blue book. Dogs do not have to have those little books. Ha.

Day Six Hundred

It is not so warm today. I had a nice walk. It was just us. Sundays are just quiet. That is nice.

Last night Zita and I went for a drive to get Niamh at her friend's house. And bring her home. All safe.

I did not bark so much. That is good. Zita said I was a big help. It is scary out late at night. I can see at night much better than people. That is why I am a big help.

Zita and Niamh and Cara and Emily went to visit wild animals today. In the gold big car. Buffalos and giant deers. Pigs. And even scary wolves. They are behind huge strong and very tall fences. Not the buffalos. Just the wolves. That is good.

Craig and I played throw the Red Ball a lot today. That is good.  Emmet came up from his basement room to make lots of Irish tea. He is writing all about why they started that not so way old war. The war with no elephants. Just aeroplanes.

Everybody is going out to dinner tonight. I cannot go. I have to guard the house. I will get peanut butter treats. That is good.

Niamh starts teaching tomorrow morning. She will have to get up early. Ha.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Nine

I got in big trouble last night. Too much barking. I had to go and sit outside. Nobody would talk to me. Oh dear. Oh dear. I try to be a not too much barking dog. It is hard.

My people do not understand. Some people are not nice. And some dogs too. Like the one who tried to bite Zita on our walk.

If I do not bark at them they will think no one cares about Craig and Zita and Emmet and Niamh. They might try to come in the house. And steal things. Oh dear. When I bark at them they know I am here and I care. It is known.

When I came in Zita said we were still friends. That is good. I wagged my tail a lot. I got lots of hugs. That is good. I was very quiet last night. It is known. It is not nice being in trouble. Even for a little while.

Craig and I saw a big shark on the television last night. I did not see Uncle Bill. That is good. Emmet said Uncle Bill should just go to nice restraurents if he wants to see fish. That is true.

Niamh and Emily and Cara were in the basement last night. They have Emmet's old play with your friends computer box. They laughed a lot. They were very loud.

Emmet is getting a brand new play with Chris and Sava computer. That is good. They like to play loud games. With giant explosions.

It is a nice day outside. Just wet. Not way too cold today. Emmet went for a long walk. Craig and I played throw the Red Ball but not a lot. He is very stubborn. Like Zita. Ha.

I went in the garden and dug a very big hole in the snow. Then I got all icy. It was way fun. Ha. Good for me.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Eight

It was way cold this morning. It was not so cold this afternoon. It is silly weather.

It is a get up way too early to drive Emmet to his university day. I did not go for a way too early walk.

When Zita got home we had a long walk with my friend Jamie. That is nice. No squirrels. Ha.

I had my toasts when we got home. And looked out my watching window for a long time.

Niamh had a vacation day. She did not get up until late late. Ha. I slept on her bed this morning. She did not wake up. Oh well.

Zita is writing lots. For her new university. I helped. On my comfy duvet.

Last night Niamh and Zoe made a cake. Not for me. They are way messy. They dropped lots of almost cake on the floor. Ha. Good for me.

It was very messy outside tonight. I had to have a little bath when I came home to my house. For my feet. And my tummy. And Zita had to use the noisy make the house clean machine to take away all the salt and sand. I do not like this part of the year.

We were supposed to go to church. Because of the pancakes. We did not go. Emmet said it does not matter. He said the nice new Pope does not like pancakes. Craig likes pancakes. Too bad for him.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Seven

It was too too cold again today. It was too cold last night. Zita and I had to get in the gold big car to get Niamh from dance a lot. She would turn into a Popsicle because she does not wear enough clothes. She does not have a beautiful coat like me. Too bad for her.

Craig and I had our toasts this morning. And watched out the window. He had two toasts. That is good.

Zita had to go to her old university all day for her almost a job. She is very busy at her old university.

Craig and I played throw the Red Ball. Not a lot. He wants me to bring the ball back. I want to keep the ball. Oh well.

He says I am like the Russians. I give the ball away then I want it back. I do not understand. I do not even know Russia. Oh well. People are silly. I just listen and I try to understand. Then they are happy. And I get bean treats. It is not hard. That is good.

My friend Cassie is visiting Mr. Bill. Cassie is bigger than me. He is a mountain dog. We do not have mountains. Just big fat hills. Maybe he misses the mountains. Oh well.

Mr. Bill has Craig's old go fast chair. He has a broken foot and cannot dance at all. That is why he needs to borrow Craig's down the basement go fast chair. Too bad for him.

Tomorrow is a holiday for Niamh. She will sleep in. Just like Emmet.  Next week Niamh teaches dance a lot all day. All week. For money.

Emmet is learning all about how the very big war started. A long time ago. The war where Craig's daddy had his big aeroplane. Craig has his aeroplane book. The one that smells sad. Oh dear.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Six

It was only cold today. Not way too cold. I had a long walk. We got up early early. Today is an early drive Emmet to university day.

I did not want to go for a way early walk. I went back to the big bed until Craig got up. Zita said I was lazy. That is not nice. I am tired of the way too cold. It is known.

It took Craig a long long time to make our toasts. He had to drink his coffee first. That is not right. We have coffee and toasts at the same time. It is known.

I do not like it when things change. I would not eat my breakfast. Until we had played throw the Red Ball. Ha.

Craig said I am the most stubborn dog in the world. I am not. Zita says I am not stubborn. I am just determined. Just like her. We are determined ladies. Niamh too. Too bad for him. Ha.

Zita had more meetings at her old university today. I guarded Craig. So he would not get lost in the snow and eaten by wolves. Ha.

He did not go out in the snow. He stayed in the den and had more coffee and read his book. That is good. Wolves are very scary. Now he is the young English lady detective. Who has a bicycle. But not a dog. Oh well.

We had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. That is good. I like peanut butter.

This afternoon Craig got Niamh at the the hospital. She was visiting her dance friend Mackenzie. Niamh thinks she might be getting better. That is good.

Tonight is a special dance night and Niamh's dance at night school. Everybody asked Niamh to go to their dance a lot class. No one invited Emmet or me. Oh well. I am still a good dancer. Emmet told me so.  Oh well.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Five

It was so cold today when I got home from by way too early walk I had a nice nap. Until Craig got up and we had our toasts.

Zita had a drink coffee meeting this morning. I did not go. I do not drink coffee. I drink nice fresh water from the big bathtub.

Craig read his book about the old policeman this morning. The policeman is even older than Uncle Bill. Ha. We played throw the Red Ball. Not too much. It is still too cold for Craig. Oh well.

Uncle Bill is way faraway on an island. With volcanoes. And Auntie Louise. No lions. Just very big sharks. Who will eat you. Emmet told me. Emmet does not like oceans. The islands have lots and lots of pineapples. Niamh likes pineapples. Ha.

Craig and Zita took the try me wheelchair back. It was not a good wheelchair. Too shiny.  I knew that. Ha. We will get another try me wheelchair. Maybe I will like it. If it is red.

Zita drove everyone everywhere today. Except me. I guarded the house.

Tonight is Niamh's toe dancing until late night. Niamh needs new toe dancing clothes. Hers have big holes in them. Oh dear. That is not right.

Were are having a pie tonight. I am being a big help. I get little bits of the cooking. That is good.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Four

I had another way too cold day. We forgot my Scotsman's coats again. Oh dear. Zita and I did not go way too far today. Her hands were too cold. And her feet.

Zita drove Niamh to the dance a lot school. It is too too cold to take the smelly bus to the far away school. That is good.

When Zita got home we had our toasts. Zita and Craig had their coffees. Then I had a nice nap on my cosy duvet. To help Zita write and write for her almost a job and her new university. Mr. Saint Paul's university.

Saint Newton does not have a university. He has a big garden with lots and lots of apple trees. For all his friends the dogs.

Craig is now an old policeman from far away England. He has a dog. His dog is called Jasper. That is a nice name. It is good that the policeman has a dog. He is old like Craig. His dog will find him if he gets lost in the woods. It is our job.

I know a Jasper. It is a nasty cat who likes to walk in my garden. Maybe the wolves will eat him. Ha.

Craig and I looked out the window. I was looking for Zita to bring Emmet home from his university. Emmet says they argue a lot at his university.

Craig says that is what universities are for. So you can know who is telling the truth. I do not know how university teaches you that.

I know who is good and who is not. I am a dog. We know those things. That is why I did not have to go to university. And I cannot drink lots of coffee. Or eat donuts.  Or read. Oh well.

Day Five a Hundred and Ninety Three

It is Sunday. We have quiet Sundays. We get up late and have pancakes. And bacon.

Niamh took me for a late walk. Zita had to make all the pancakes.

Emmet had his pancakes when he was fast asleep. Ha. Nothing fell on the floor. Oh well.

The noisy sidewalk machines came again and again. I do not like them.

Niamh went to visit her friend in the hospital.  She was not there. She went home for a day. That is nice. Niamh and her dance a lot friends got her presents. And some funny books. They will go again another day. That is nice. She will be glad her friends came to visit her.

Hospitals are not nice places to stay. I had to stay in Dr. Smith's hospital a long time ago. I could not go home to my comfy bed. And my family. I was very sad. I had to sleep in a not so big box. I did not like it.

Emmet did not like it when he had to stay in the hospital. He told me.

Zita and I went for another walk. Before it got dark. And the wolves hide in the bushes.

Day Five Hundred and Ninety Two

I had a snowy walk this morning. More too much snow. Oh dear.

Craig did not go to his breakfast today. Too much snow. We had our toasts and looked out my watching window. That is good.

The noisy move the snow off my sidewalks machines came back. I do not like them. I bark at them. They do not care. Too bad for them.

Saturdays are quiet days.

Niamh and her dance a lot friend came home and made their lunch. They did not drop anything. Oh well. They just laughed a lot. That is good.

Niamh is going to a sing happy birthday party tonight.

Emmet and Sava and Chris are not going to go out and eat hamburgers and too many chips. They are going to have Chinese food. I like Chinese food. We had it once and it fell on the floor. It was very good. But they do not have cheese in Chinese food. Just long long noodles. Oh well.

I am going to stay here and guard Zita and Craig. They are not going out. Too much snow for them. Zita has to write a lot for her new university. I have to stay and help her. It is my job.
